"Hey Sexy." Massie Block looked up from her California Rolls to find the devious pretty-boy face of Kemp Hurley.

Massie rolled her eyes. "What do you want Hurley?"

"Two things: A tuna fish sandwich and you." he winked at Massie, who just rolled her eyes.

"I dunno about the tuna fish sandwich, but you are definitely nawt getting me." Massie smirked. "Hey aren't you supposed to be in the Tiffany- excuse me- girly boxes?"

"Not anymore." He leaned in close. "I've got connections."

Out of nowhere, Kristen, smelling of cucumber melon hand lotion, plopped down on the seat next to Massie.

"As if, Kemp." Kristen turned to Massie. "They got destroyed in the thunderstorm last night."

"Well, even if there hadn't been a thunderstorm last night, I woulda been outta there fo sho."

Massie and Kristen exchanged looks. "Sure."

"Whatevs. I-"

"What are you gonna do next Kemp? Wear a pink shirt? I mean, "Whatevs"? That is kind of a girl word, dont'cha think?" Massie snapped, cutting Kemp off.

"What. Ev. Er. I just wanted to tell you your missing out." Kemp said.

"On what? A perv?" Massie laughed.

Kristen laughed too. Kemp shook his head and walked away. "Stupid Pretty Committee." he muttered under his breath.

Listen to: Shadow of the Day by Linkin Park

"5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Gooooaaaaallll!" the announcer shouted over the microphone, as Kemp Hurley, number 23, skidded on the mud-and-grass mixture on the ground. It was raining yet again, as the Pretty Committee watched one of the Tomahawks' biggest games of the year- Kristen had had to drag them there of course.

There Massie sat, sitting on two plastic covered throw pillows, which she had snuck out of the house for comfort. There she sat watching as Kemp was thrown into the air. She watched as the cheerleaders cheered for him. She watched as a group of semi-pretty LBR girls stared at him, wishing they were his girl. She watched as his eyes lingered on her for just a second.

She watched, listened, and wished. She wished that it would stop raining, wished that she hadn't come here, wished that she hadn't made the worst choice she could've possibly made.

"Kemp!" she screamed as she ran under the stadium. "Kemp!"

The boy's locker room door shut with a soft 'thud'. There Massie sat all alone in the rain, wishing she hadn't let him go. People sped past her, but she just stood there, silent and still.

"Massie."

Massie twirled around. There he stood, dirty blonde curls sticking to his face, his chocolate eyes twinkling it.

"Kemp. I'm sorry. I made the wrong choice. I'm sorry!" Massie whimpered.

"It's okay Massie. Just make the right choice now."

"Okay." Massie turned around and walked away. The she turned and ran back and kissed him as hard as she could.

Sometimes Love isn't what it seems. Sometimes you make a choice. Sometimes your first choice is wrong. But sometimes...it's your first choice that makes everything better.

I hope it's okay!

I kinda think it sucks a bit, but whatever.

The second I got my prompt I just HAD to write it.

Me, I just have to sit down and read something.
