When You Say Nothing At All, a bones fanfic

Today on March 21nd you could find Booth and his squints in a dance club called Minerva, a couple of blocks from the Jeffersonian. The reason they are there is Zack's birthday. No matter what everyone says, 27 is an important age. So there they are having their second drink, when Hodgins decided this is not the way a birthday should be celebrated.

''Why don't we play a game?'' he asked.

''What kind of game Jack?'' Angela asked.

''Have you ever heard of game called I never…''

''Oh, hon, that's a perfect idea!'' Angela squealed and hugged her boyfriend.

''What kind of a game is it?'' Brennan and Zack asked at the same time.

''Someone says what he or she never did and those who did that must take a drink of whatever alcohol drink they have.'' Booth explained.

''OK. I think I know what are you all talking about.'' Brennan said.

''Why don't I start with something easy? I've never cheated on exams.'' said Angela.

Booth and Hodgins both took a drink.

''Well, I won't say that surprised me.'' Angela laughed. Then she noticed Zack took a little sip of his drink.

''But I didn't expect that. Why did you do it Zack?''

''In high school some students bullied me, saying if I didn't help them cheat on final exams, they would always demand money and if I wouldn't have had money with me, they would beat me till I could barely move. I helped them rather than let them beat me. I never brought money with me in school. Mom always made my lunch.'' he explained.

''Oh you poor boy!'' Ange sreamed and gave Zack a very tight hug.

After a while of turns and drinks when all of them were a little tipsy it was Angela's turn.

''I've never danced with my work partner.''

Booth and Brannan both took a drink.

''What?! When?! How?!'' asked very livid Angela.

''You forgot why Honey.'' Hodgins reminded his girlfriend.

''You will have to prove it. Dance one song right now.'' Ange said almost screaming.

Brennan and Booth decided to do it, because you don't want to mess with angry Angela Montenegro.

Booth took Bones to the dance floor and spined her to the sounds of the music.
