He pulls her in.
It drags her under.
This wrenches her down.
She's drowning. She's gasping for breath, but it pulls her in deeper.
It's a maze – her maze, his maze, their maze.
Full of dark dead-ends, circular, never ending but always ending.
And there's no way out now.
They are dangerous. Alone, together – dangerous.
"Don't play with fire Lily, you always end up getting burned."
This time, this dead-end, this dive, this is her end – their end. She's burned. Heart, mind, soul.
