Things have been lonely for me since Lisanna came back from Edolas. I mean, I'm happy that she's come back and reunited with her family and friends, but...I've been abandoned for months. Forced to go on solo missions just to get by. It was very difficult for me. I know that my magic has become stronger because I've been training with Capricorn and now I can open two gates at once without becoming tired. I honestly feel as if I were back in the Estates with father. The way he ignored me twenty-four seven. I feel unwanted now. I know I shouldn't feel this way, but I can't help it. AS of now, I'm just sitting in a steaming hot bath with special medicines to help my injuries heal faster and boost my magic back to normal. I've been sitting in the water for maybe forty minutes or so. If I don't get out now then I'll probably look like a raisin. I began to lift myself out the bathtub, wincing as my aching muscles rubbing against each other in the action. I pull the plug to drain the tinted bath water and pull my towel from the rack. I wrapped the towel around my clear skinned body and glanced at my keys on the bathroom sink and smiled. I got two things out of finishing my solo mission. A new key. Although she isn't all that powerful, she's a good one. Sprite of the Gold Plains, Gretel. She's a tiny creature, maybe the size of a small kitten. Her magic specializes in sleep magic and rendering someone blind for a matter of minutes. Although she's a silver key, she's very strong and such a cute little thing too. Fluffy maroon hair, innocent and big bright gold eyes, peachy tanned skin. She wore bright leaf clothing and she always had this strange glow to her not because he was a Sprite.
My friends are the only ones who haven'y ignored me. I take my key pouch and hug it with my keys inside. with them, I don'y feel as lonely as I do at the guild. I heat the hum of my friends and my key pouch heating slightly with their magic. I smile at their warmth before placing them carefully back on the sink to dry myself off. I dress in jean shorts and a long sleeved knitted sweater. I leave my hair down after combing through it a couple of times. I took my whip and keys to my belt while sliding my sandals on. I guess I'll be going on another solo mission today. I let out a sigh of what felt like defeat.
"i guess it's time to go get a job."
At the Guildhall
I felt an intense feeling in the air the second I stepped into the Guildhall. Did something happen? Did someone get hurt? I slow my pace into an absolute stop.
"What's going on here Levy?" I asked
She scoffed " I'm surprised you even have to ask." She spat bitterly, making me flinch at her harsh tone.
"HUH?! What do you mean?! I can't ask something I don't know ! And why are you so mean today?" I raise my eyebrow as I try to defend myself from her furious demeanor. "OI, LUCY!" I avert my eyes from Levy to see Team Natsu stalking toward me from the bar. I glance around. Everyone was silent. What's happening? It hasn't been this quiet since the attack from Phantom Lord.
"Natsu, what's going on?" As my friends approached me, I noticed Lisanna clutching and hiding behind a glaring Erza. She was beaten up pretty badly. Black, blue, purple, and even some re-coated her once flawless skin.
"My GOD! Linsanna! What happened to you?!" Concern filling my entire body, it even showed in my voice too.
"Don't pretend you care about her, WEAKLING!" Natsu looked like he wanted to kill me.
"What in the hell do you mean?! She's my friend! OF course, I'll care about her!" I retorted incredulously.
"Lisanna told us how you attacked her two days ago. She wasn't at the guild yesterday, neither were you." Erza butted in sternly. My eyes widen and I sputtered, "YOU THINK I DID THIS?!" They didn't answer, but Lisanna cried out, "I just wanted to be your friend and you attacked me!" waterfall tears showered from her lying eyes. "We don't need a weakling and traitor like you in Fairy Tail. Leave before I force you to." Natsu lit his hand on fire, Erza summoned a sword, and Gray, he stood back, as if waiting to see how this turned out.
"Weakling-" I was cut off bu Natsu's flaming fist hitting my left face, making me scream in pain from the fire and from me being sent back into the guild doors. My body slams against the thick wooden doors. I dropped to the floorboards like a bag of bricks.
"Go near Lisanna again, and I will personally kill you myself." Natsu seethed with pure and absolute anger, not even bothering to hide the fact the venom in his voice was directed at me. A bright glow burst into the room with a loud growl of anger.
"Sorry I'm late Lucy. Hope they didn't you to bad." Yang said cracking her knuckles.
"You assholes wanna explain to us what's going on?" Blake said gritting her teeth. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Kakashi, Anna, AJ, Rin, Nora, Sakura, Shiemi, Ren, Xavier, Elijah, Caleb, Heather, E, and her zodiacs came to her side ready for a fight.
"Just give me the command Lu and I'll slaughter them for hurting you." Heather spat out towards Natsu. Heather stop please if things keep on going like this they'll think I'm weak.
I understand...call me when you need me.
"That bitch deserves much worse, attacking Lisanna like that. Who the fuck does she think she is."
"She's so weak! Why is she even in Fairy Tail?"
Heather heard what Natsu and Erza said and flashed right in front of them with a fist to the face.
"If you've got something to say then be a man and say it in front of the persons face, bitches."
Why am I feeling so much hatred for something I didn't do? I open the nearly broken guild doors and bolted out.
"Ack!"
I harshly smack right into a womanly figure. Through my teary clouded eyes, I could make out Evergreen and the rest of the Thunder Legion.
"L-Lucy?! What happened to you?!" Evergreen wailed out in concern. I didn't answer her, instead, I push past her and the men, continuing on with my run of humiliation with my burnt red face and wounded heart. When I returned to my apartment, my landlady was at my door for something, she was surely surprised to find me burnt and tears running like a broken dam. She didn't ask me for anything and left without a word. I unlock my door, go in, lock it and let the waterworks fully at it. My tears stung my cheek and even worse when I wiped them with my sleeves.
"Princess..."
"Lucy..." I felt a pair of arms around me. At first, I thought it was Loke but the arms felt too skinny.
"Shall I punish them, Princess?"
"I already beat their asses Virgo. Its good to teach them some manners once in a while."
"V-Virgo! Heather! Please, help me pack my stuff." I gulp down.
"Most certainly, Princess."
Of course Lucy, but where will you go?"
I felt another warm presence appear in the room, "Heather you should've killed Natsu for hitting Lucy like that!" Loke made his appearance. Virgo and Heather stepped away from me and let Loke take over comforting me. His fingers grazed my burn and frowned.
"Unforgivable. The celestial Spirit World has magical and rare special herbs that will heal this right up,but it will scar." I sniffle and lean my body against his. I can'y believe this happened. I can'y believe Natsu up and abandoned me. Fairy Tail has abandoned me. I'm sure Wendy would've defended me if she wasn't with Porlysica.
"We're finished, Princess." Ignoring the heated numbness in my face, Loke and I turned towards Virgo and Heather. My eyes widened. My apartment was empty as if I never moved in. The broken thump of my heart tore me from my daze. What should I be feeling? Anger? Sadness? Grief? Hurt? Or all four? Did they really mean it when they called me a Weakling? Or was it out of the accusation that I attacked Lisanna?
"Come on, Lucy, let's get going."
I feel like my body was made of lead. Too heavy to move. Loke lifted me in his arms while muttering words I couldn't understand. My eyelids drooped. I was tired. So very tired. Let me rest...just for a while.
