Lily pursed her lips. She just couldn't stand James and Albus laughing as her. Weren't they supposed to be the mature ones after all? Her brothers were complete assholes most of the time, never accepting the fact that she was accepted into another house; Slytherin. Even though it had been five years, the topic came up nearly once a day. They did her head in, but that wasn't all.

Lily had a crush on Scorpius Malfoy, her father's old nemesis' son. How could she not? He was handsome, kind, sweet and a funny guy. He was also her best friend. The age difference wasn't that big, only two years, but her father wouldn't be pleased. But who cares!

"Shut up you two!" she snapped and rolled her eyes. They were such babies even though James had left school and Albus was in his final year at Hogwarts, never mind him being Head Boy.

"You are just a little snake!" Albus exclaimed and she slapped him across the face. They stared with shock at her. Albus' hands balled into fists and his knuckles turned white. He always did that when he was pissed. James put his hand on his shoulder and whispered in his ear. Whatever James had said made Albus back down and walk away but she knew this fight wasn't over.

She left the living room and went into the kitchen to get a snack. Her mother was sitting over a game plan/strategy sheet for the Holyhead Harpies. She looked up and smiled at her. Lily grabbed two cookies and a carton of orange juice. She sat down beside her mother and leaned her head on her shoulder. "Why are the boys so tiring to be around?" she exclaimed and bit into her cookie. Her mother looked at her and sighed.

"You know what they are like. They are stubborn but don't forget Lily Luna, so are you. You are just too alike to get on, that's all," she said kindly, trying not to pick a row. Lily had rolled her eyes when her mother said she was like her brothers.

"I can't believe it is Christmas in 4 days!" she exclaimed to her mother, trying to change the subject. He mother sensed this and played along. "Do you mind if I go shopping tomorrow with some friends at Hogsmead?" her mother raised one eyebrow delicately.

"You can, my dear, but who is all going?" she asked grinning at her.

"Me, Scorp, Dani, Lola, Christian and probably a few others," Lily replied, feeling a bit giddy with excitement. Tomorrow they were going Christmas shopping for everyone. It would be the first time she would see her friends since they got off for holidays two weeks ago.

Very well darling," Ginny smiled at her daughter and watched her skip from the room. 'How nice would it be to be young again?' she thought.
