Hi! Um, it's Mooo here! This is my first time writing a Kirby story, and my
second time writing a story about a video game, so here it is. I hope you
like it!
Little Kirby was nothing like his father, Kirby. He was very short and afraid of all of your every day enemies. Kirby could understand that his son was afraid of some enemies like Bo-Bo's, but his little son was afraid of even the tiniest enemies as well. One day Kirby decided to take Little Kirby on a trip. He planned to take him out for a picnic and then perhaps go play tennis or golf.
"Rise and shine, Little Kirby!" said Kirby one morning. "Are you ready?"
"For what, Daddy?" asked Little Kirby, not quite awake yet.
"Oh, silly! Remember? Our trip!"
Little Kirby slowly got out of his warm bed. He shivered as his first foot touched the cold ground.
Kirby talked a great deal to little Kirby during breakfast, but Little Kirby stayed silent. He just ate his cereal, acting like nothing was happening. Kirby just figured that Little Kirby was not a morning puff, and he continued talking to him.
When the two were finally ready to go, Little Kirby still wasn't talking much. The trip just didn't seem like it was going to be that great to him. And plus, Little Kirby knew why Kirby was taking him on a trip. He just wanted to toughen him up. That way Little Kirby could start saving the world just like his Daddy.
Kirby and Little Kirby took a carriage to the park. There were two horsed pulling it. One was named Old Blue, and he was a sturdy looking blackish blue horse. The other one was Maple. He was light brown and looked old and weak, almost like he wasn't fed enough. His ribs could be counted from several feet away. He was bony and slim.
"Poor horsey," said Little Kirby when he saw it.
"Oh, he's okay, don't you worry," said Kirby. "Mama Kirby wouldn't want you worrying on our trip, would she?"
Little Kirby felt a sudden pain. Mama Kirby was far, far away from home and Little Kirby missed her so. Oh, how he missed her.
I wonder where Mama Kirby is, thought Little Kirby. Does she miss me? Will she ever come back? I love Mama Kirby. Does she love me, too?
"We're almost to the park," said Kirby. He pointed to a large sign the said Timberwood Park on it in bold letters.
"What's at the park, Daddy?" asked Little Kirby.
"Oh, many things," replied Kirby. "Why, there are tables, benches, pools, and little stores! There are basketball and tennis courts! I'm sure that you will love it!"
Kirby then saw a sad look on Little Kirby's face.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Mama Kirby," he said with tears rolling down his cheeks. "I love Mama Kirby. But where is she? Where is Mama Kirby?"
"Oh, it's all right, Little Kirby. It's all right. I don't know where Mama Kirby is, but she wouldn't want you to be sad on your first trip, would she? Wherever she is, she still loves you and wants you to have a good time. I may not be your Mama Kirby, but I want you to have a good time too, and I love you. Mama Kirby is out there somewhere, and she still cares about us."
