Racing Freedom

Way back when the world was gray and dull, there was billions, trillions of horns everywhere. The famous king of the beasts (AKA, the lion.) was pacing in his humongous sport arena. He was pacing back and forth so much he wore a hole into the ground. He was murmuring " Oh what should I do everything is gray and dull as well as everyone! Oh what should I do? Oh what should I do?" all the sudden a idea was forming in his mind, "I will get the elephants and the horses to do a five races; two for agility, two for strength and the last for speed, first group to win three don't have to wear any horns. He sent for five of the best horses and five of the best elephants.

The horses and the elephants both told the messengers that they would do it. Thunder and his four brothers and sisters would go; Sugar and Rosie would both do agility, Butterscotch and Popcorn would do strength and Thunder would do speed. The elephants chose Bigfoot and his gang because they would cheat by placing traps, playing tricks and use shortcuts.

After many days of traveling, all the animals were in the arena. The great event would be three days long, but in their memories it would be longer. Before ceremonies started the teams' meet, the teams got into a fight. The king started the agility day, at the end Rosie and Sugar had both won their rounds. The next day was for strength; both Butterscotch and Popcorn had lost. The final day came; Bigfoot and Thunder were neck in neck as they approached the finish line for the 100th time. They both sprinted and Bigfoot got caught in his own trap. Thunder and his family got to put one or two horns on each one. The one horned are now rhinos and the two horns are elephants. Once all horns were gone the right colors returned to things without horns.

Moral: If you are dishonest you will not be successful.
