Katniss never knew how to bake.
One afternoon, while Peeta was out to buy some supplies, Katniss slipped inside kitchen of the bakery. Thinking of surprising Peeta by making a cake, she gathered up flours and eggs and began baking. When Peeta came back, he found the kitchen covered in flour and so is Katniss.
"Ummm, surprise?"
Ever since then, Katniss was never allowed inside kitchen. Ever.
