Roses On My Grave

SilverMoon: My first D. Gray Man fanfiction. Hope it's not too bad. I'm sorry if anyones OOC, as I told you, it's my first try. This is also, if you haven't read the description, an alternate universe and a oneshot.

Disclaimer: I don't own -Man.

'I've got a woman
that'll put roses on my grave.
Feels like I'm looking at life,
through a telescope because I'm so high
And the ground never seemed so far away
Truth shall be told one day
I'll be under ground one day.'
-Roses On My Grave by Papa Roach

Stifling a sob, she placed the red flowers against the stone in front of her. A soft, almost comforting wind blew her pigtails into her face. Brushing them back with a shaking hand, she bit back another cry.

'Please don't cry, Lenalee.'

She could almost hear his voice, could almost feel his hand rubbing smooth circles on his back. But no, he was gone. How could he be hear now?

Tears silently carved streams down her face. The last words she'd ever said to him reached her ears.

'Leave me alone! I don't want to talk to you anymore.'

The last expression she'd ever seen on his face, and the last words he'd said to her.

'I'm sorry, Lenalee.'

And then he was gone. He had turned around and left the room, leaving her to glare at his retreating back. Their entire reason for fighting had been stupid. They had fought over something so trivial as her father. And now, those last phrases uttered between them would be the last memories she would ever have of him.

A sob ripped out of her, she leaned against the stone. He was gone, forever. Nothing but a cold body lying in a coffin covered with dirt. They only memorial of him: cold, gray stone with his name on it.

'Lenalee, I'm sorry. But, it's Allen, he's...he's dead.' Lavi sobbed to her, his green eyes shining with fresh tears, 'The stupid bean, he went and killed himself...' The redhead tried to force a smile, but could only continue crying.

The memory woke her from her near sleeping state. Allen, yes, he'd killed himself, all because of a stupid mistake that she had made.

Lying her head against the cool, hard surface that had his name engraved on it, she sobbed, one hand reaching out and clenching the red roses she had put there.

Allen Walker was gone, forever.

SilverMoon: I hope that wasn't as crappy as it sounded to me. It was short, I know, but I meant for it to be that short. Please review and tell me if everyone was in character and if there was enough detail, or too little. Okay? Thanks. :)
