Marietta Mislikes Monkeys
-stupid, feral animals-
She hated monkeys. Despised them with a serious passion. They were so stupid, so feral, so wild, so much so that she refused to go near them. She hated their features, their mannerisms, their everything. The zoo definitely wasn't a place she liked to go, and she made that clear several times. Her father was obsessed with Muggle things, he adored everything he got get his hands on. And, unfortunately, her sister was the same. Danielle loved the zoo, and Marietta did not. It was one of many ways that made them so completely different.
Apparently, she deviated from her mother, and Danielle had inherited all of her father's mannerisms. Gods, they were so alike that sometimes she felt that she and Danielle weren't even related and that scared her. If you didn't have family, who did you have?
Still, it wasn't the zoo that Marietta hated; it was the animals that occupied it. The monkeys were high up on her list, but lions, tigers, and giraffes shared the top ten with them. Merlin, animals were so feral! How could anyone possibly like them? So, when Cho told her that she was going to move on from Cedric's death and try to date Harry Potter- for god's sake!- Marietta did everything she could to stop that from happening.
After all, she couldn't let her best friend in the whole wide world go out with a boy that greatly resembled a monkey.
It just wasn't possible that she could let that happen.
Stupid monkeys.
