This is my first fan fiction so reviews would be greatly appreciated. This also why this chapter is very short :( I wanted to see if it would be worth while continueing. It's all from Alices point of view while she is in the asylum.
Eight thousand nine hundred and thirty one, Eight thousand nine hundred and thirty two..........
I lay on the white padded floor of my cell counting while I watched the ceiling swirl above me, no doubt a side effect of the drugs they had me on.
I sensed the door open in tune with the mad whisperings coming from the room next door. Not bothering to sit up I clenched my eyes tightly closed in an effort to ignore the chills echoing down my spine as I heard a set of familiar footsteps entering my cell.
Tears slid beneath my eyelids as I thought to myself this cannot be happening, not again.
"Come Mary; come with me we're going to make you better."
I shook my head and squinted through my watering eyes as his thin elegant fingers clasped my wrists. His hands were as cold as ice and as smooth as marble. His eyes were the colour of blood hidden behind a pair of contacts though each day they faded to a darker shade of black, cause you see my doctor James Felix Anthony is a vampire......
"Come Mary, come with me." I could tell he was trying to be persuasive but all I could picture was those sharp, shiny teeth hidden behind that charming smile.
"It's Alice, my name is Alice." I growled under my breath. It was, I knew it was........ at least I think I did.
"If you're going to be unrepentant.........," his sentence cut of midway as James grabbed me under the arms and hauled me to my feet.
Unrelenting tears began to flow as he shoved me out of my padded cell and down the cold corridor to a locked barred doorway that led into an antechamber. Once the door was open and we had entered the antechamber I was promptly strapped to a cold stone slab and attached to a maze of red, green and blue wires that led to an enormous black box, which I knew from experience was the power source.
James smiled his usual sadistic smile whispering menacingly
"I'll break you one day I swear I'll break you," he leaned in close and grazed my neck with his sharp inscisors.
I strained viscously against the restraints binding my arms and legs, "Nev…..er," my voice caught and my eyes rolled into the back of my head. A familiar feeling of happiness engulfed me as everything went black.
Instantly recognising my surroundings I knew I'd had this vision before. Shaking my head to clear the fogginess that still clung to my brain I entered the familiar Café on the streets corner. I took my usual place at a stool in front of the serving corner, more importantly the door.
As usual I spent most of the day sitting on that stool watching the door and as usual it didn't matter time stood still when Jasper walked trough the door.........
