Bella McFlytrap walked out of the house into the warm summer morning. She could see the young black and white paint mare sticking her head out the top of the dutch stall door.
"Good Morning Beezwax." Bella said to the horse
Bella walked into the feed room and grabbed half a pad of hay. Nudging Beezwax back she dropped the hay on to the ground in the stall. The horse dug her nose into the hay and started to eat. Bella walked back to the feed room and scooped up some grain and weighed it out. When she got the exact amount she wanted she poured it into the shallow rubber pan the was hooked up in the corner of the stall. Beezwax quickly turned and started to eat the grain.
"Gosh Beez. Slow down a bit." Bella said to the horse as she walked in to check the water, the water was full but there were some pieces of hay stuck so Bella just dunked her hand into the cold water and pulled them out. She walked into the tack room and pulled the cover off the brown leather english saddle and turquoise saddle pad. She brushed it off and smiled at the old saddle. She walked over and grabbed the english bridle with the simple snaffle bit.
Later in the day Bella pulled Beezwax out and tied her to a tie ring outside on the fence. After she fully groomed her, Bella put on the saddle pad, saddle, and finally the bridle. She mounted from the fence and decided to trot over to her Sister-in-laws house to get her niece. The thing was her Family wasn't normal at all. She married a monster. A plant monster named Aaron to be exact. Aarons sister Audrey was a plant monster also, Her and her Husband Reese,also a plant monster, had a daughter named venus and were expecting a baby boy in a month. When Bella married Aaron she found out that all the books about monsters were based on history. Famous monsters were all real, Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, and , Werewolves, Yetis, and many many more were all real. They were never as evil and aggressive as movies and books made them out to be though, they were the ones being hunted because they were humans.
Venus was outside sitting in the sun when Bella trotted over. The little girl immediately stood and ran to the horse, which was many times bigger than her, without a hint of fear. The horse put her nose down in greeting.
"Beez!" Venus called and wrapped her arms around the horses nose. Bella expected Beez to jerk away, but instead she just rubbed against her. Then Beez grabbed Venus by the shirt and lifted her of the ground. Venus started laughing as the horse pulled her up and set her down again.
"Can I ride?" Venus asked
"Of course." Bella said as she dismounted and lifted venus into the saddle "Watch this." Bella put her arms around Beez's strong neck and put a slight pressure on her shoulder which told the horse to lift her leg and wrap it around Bella in a hug. Venus started laughing and laid down over the saddle.
"I will teach you to ride when you're older, But for now you can have some pony rides."Bella said
"Okay!" Venus said sitting up and brushing strands of green and pink hair out of her face "Aunt Bella, Will Rider like Beezwax?"
"Of course! But he might not want to ride all the time like me or you. There is something special between girls and horses that boys usually don't have." Bella answered pulling the reins over Beezwax's head and walking her back towards the pasture where a dirt area was for riding. When they were in the ring she looked at the young girls sweet face and smiled as she walked around leading a happy Beeswax around the dirt, Venus laughing on her back.
