A/N: Hey everyone! So, I've been planning this story for a while, and I'm hoping that you'll all like it :) Please review! xxx
Chapter One.
Everybody knew of young Guinevere Leodegrance's pregnancy the moment the fifteen year old girl turned four months. Even though she didn't show much, or have morning sickness, she had a certain glow around her, and her hands often lay over her abdomen.
Nobody knew who the father was, and many had assumed that she had been enchanted by a sorcerer to bear his spawn, or raped by one of the local drunks. Only Guinevere and the child's father knew that neither was true, but the father being whom he was, did not out himself. His father would have Gwen and the child banished, for the father's father had that power.
Both the mother and the father had been fourteen when they fell into a love that was common among the youth. Neither cared of status or decency, as neither expected what was to happen, to happen.
A pregnancy between the first Lady of Camelot's maidservant, and the prince of Camelot; Arthur Pendragon. An illegitimate heir that was to be kept secret and hidden from her royal descent. Both Arthur and Gwen had agreed that they must break off their relationship and keep the child from the knowledge that her father was a prince.
When delicate Isodora was born, it was all hallows eve, just before midnight, and the sky was clear, full of bright stars and a huge, full moon. Gaius had let the prince into the birthing chambers to hold Gwen's hand and kiss her forehead as she was bombarded with contractions.
When the babe was born into the world, Gaius told the young parents with a smile that it was a girl, and Arthur dipped his face to sweetly kiss the lips of his secret love. The child was placed into Arthur's arms, and he gently rocked his newborn daughter.
The teenagers had never been more proud than when they saw their baby for the first time. For Gwen, this meant many sleepless nights, and for Arthur, this was to be his last glance at his daughter for many weeks. The king had appointed him and three knights to go hunting, then straight afterwards, to visit a kingdom by the name of Andestaui.
Arthur stayed with Guinevere until the sun rose on the first of November. He gave his daughter a kiss o the forehead, and Gwen a soft kiss on her lips, then departed.
All through the night, neither parent had seen the golden glow in Isodora's brown eyes, and Gwen herself did not notice it until she was three weeks old. The candle beside Gwen and Isodora's sleeping area lit by itself, and the baby stopped crying, and just silently stared at the flame. Careful not to dislodge the babe, Gwen blew the flame out, and that was when she seen it.
The gold flash. Barely a second afterwards the candle relit itself. It was then that it occurred to her; her baby had magic.
A/N2: Okay, so do you like it? Should I carry on with it? Please review! Mwah!
