"Ah! Just two more weeks and holidays here I come!" Kagami exclaimed as he stretched out his arms and plastered a wide smile on his face.

"That is if you pass, Kagami. You're a really bad test-taker," Kuroko said in his expressionless face.

Kagami frowned and gave a menacing look towards Kuroko. Kuroko somehow managed to become his friend, but boy, this short guy didn't know how to act like one. Ugh, he's so straightforward. I wish he was normal and supported me with the thought of the summer holidays approaching.

"Please don't bring that up! I just don't want to think about school anymore," Kagami said, trying not to raise his voice in front of the passing students and teachers. With school ending for the day, all he could think about was just going on the basketball court and clearing his mind which was filled with a smog of words and numbers, waiting to be erased.

"I'm going to play some basketball." Kagami stated.

"I'm coming too." Kuroko replied.

Both the students, upon arriving on the small half basketball court, took of their jackets and rolled up the sleeves of their shirts. The two slowly started to play one-on-one, although the outcome was always clear that Kagami would win.

After fifteen minutes though, Kagami, out of boredom, decided to give Kuroko the ball, just to let the small fry try. The blue haired boy stood face to face with Kagami, holding the taller boy's gaze with his crystal-like eyes.

Kuroko tried to fake to the left, but Kagami quickly intercepted it and managed to push the ball out of Kuroko's hands. However, Kagami's weight managed to fall a little on Kuroko, causing the small boy to lose his balance. Before Kagami could realize it, as Kuroko tried to collect his balance, Kuroko ended up toppling over Kagami, causing the red haired boy to fall on the cement floor of the court, back-head first onto the ground.

"OUCH! KUROKO! IDIOT!" Kagami yelled as if to hope that it would take out the throbbing pain from the back of his head. Kagami's eyes automatically closed during the fall, so when he opened them, he saw Kuroko's face and his chin resting on Kagami's chest.

But something was weird.

Kuroko was red. Beet red. In fact, his red face contrasted with his blue hair and eyes, making an extraordinary colored face.

No, Kagami thought, he's not blushing….is he?

"Be…careful…next…time, Kagami-kun. Don't….hurt…yourself." Kuroko stuttered as he quickly got up and walked away from Kagami.

Kagami laid down there for a few more seconds, trying to soak in what happened to Kuroko, when suddenly his mind zoned back into reality.

"Wait, Kuroko! Why are you telling that to me? You're the one who got me hurt!"
