I, Agent April Banks, was walking up to the private investigators office. Lassiter told me this case was of the most importance, and the Chief told me these guys were the best. Sure, as if this "Shawn Spencer" had ever had a psychic vision in his life. If he had, I would have gotten a ping the second I walked into the place. And don't say I must not have noticed it. They're pretty hard to miss.

So anyway, I walk up to Psych, that's the name of this place, and open the door. A little jingle jangle sounds and I try to concentrate to see if I can sense. Yep, this guys no psychic. Whatever, he gets results. And right now I need results.

"No Shawn! I will not! It's embarrassing!"

"All I'm saying is we need to play it up next time. You could catch me and I could…."

"No Shawn, DO NOT drag me into the no psychic thing,"

"Shawn Spencer?" I ask, walking up and popping my thin hips in my suit. The look on their faces: PRICELESS!

"New costumer?" ask Shawn.

I sigh, "I guess. I'm from SBPD, the chief sent me because we could seriously use some help,"

They stare at me, dumbfounded. I'll admit that Shawn has been staring me since the beginning of that statement, but I can sense photographic detection and a photographic memory, so he must have spotted the badge in my pocket. This is what happens when a 14 year old girl graduates from school early and becomes a cop. People stare at you whenever you say those three words. It gets annoying.

"First of all, Mr. Spencer, I know you aren't psychic. Don't ask how I know, I just do. But I also know that you see things no one else does and remember them perfectly, and that gets results. So I really don't care," I smirk, "But I wouldn't say anything to the chief about it,"

Again they stare at me, since Mr. Spencer no longer needs to pretend he "predicted" anything.

I sigh again and hand them the file. "This is the case. I'll be back later so we can go to the Crime Scene. Just a warning, Lassiter will be there. He's my "mentor". I don't think I have ever met someone more uptight in my entire life."

Shawn smiled as I walked out the door. "Gus," he said, "I like her,"
