Thalia. Thalia. Thalia. Thalia. Thalia. Thalia.
I shivered.
Damn it! Thalia!
Gods... all I think about these days... Thalia.
I shivered again.
"Forest too cold for the son of Hades?" Thalia's voice said from behind me. I shivered yet again. I have to stop shivering!
I tuned around to see Thalia Grace (I almost grinned while thinking of, 'Thalia di Angelo') crossing her arms, eyebrows raised. I smiled.
"Happy to she me?" Thalia questioned grinning. Her lips are perfect, purple (Because of her lipstick) and soft looking. Stop it Nico! Damn it, she's a huntress!
"I was just thinking that the look on your face suits you."
"Really?" she said, eyebrows still raised.
"Yup." She grinned again at my response and shook her head, which showed me that her hair was different.
"You cut your hair?" I asked.
"Yeah. I layered it. You like it?" she responded.
"Yeah I love it. It's awesome!" I smiled.
Something beeped and Thalia look at her now glowing ring (One from the hunt). "Crap, I have to go. See you around. We are coming in two days. I just came for a quick visit to see Annabeth. Bye!"
I watched her leave. When she was out of sight, I turned around. I heard someone breathing beside me. I pulled out my sword and swung it.
"Whoa! Watch it Nico!" Annabeth!
"Gods Annabeth, don't do that!" I yelled.
"I know that now!" she yelled back, pulling off her Yankees cap.
"How long were you there?" I asked, strait to the point.
"I was there for as long as you and Thalia were talking."
"Why were you listening in?"
"Because I felt like listening in to your conversation."
"Why? We barely ever talk about important things, so why bother?"
"If it's nothing important, why does me listening in matter?" Stupid, stupid daughter of Athena! Uh oh... No no no! I meant, 'Smart, nice, daughter of wonderful Athena'!
Yes! I'm not dead!
"Whatever!" I said.
"Exactly!"
I sighed.
"I have a dare for you Nico. Now you have to swear on the river Styx that you will do the dare." Annabeth challenged.
Without thinking, I accepted it. "I swear on the river Styx that I will do whatever dare you give me." I have a bad feeling about this... But there would be no way I'm backing out.
"I dare you to dedicate, and sing, a song to Thalia when the huntresses come. Thalia, the hunters, and everybody else has to be there. If the song says 'wearing' whatever, you will be wearing it! The dedication will be sang in the dining hall, you standing on a table, singing. I can add what ever I want to the dare, but no more than ten more things other than what was already clarified."
"FUCK!" I cussed loudly.
"No need to swear." Annabeth scolded.
"Uh, yeah! There is!" I yelled.
"You swore on the river Styx. You are doing the dare. You have to. Choose a song and tell me your choice by tomorrow. See ya." she said, and ran.
No way out... Now I guess I'm stuck dedicating a song to Thalia Grace.
