Left 4 Dead: The Passing
"Just perfect." Nick said, staring at the two flats on Jimmy Gibbs' stock car. Rochelle took the keys out of the ignition and put them in her pocket. Coach kicked the flattened tire. "Were defiantly not going another mile with a tire like that, we got to think of something fast!" "Well I reckon there's an auto shop no more than two miles from here, I'm sure we can find tires there." Ellis said. "I like Ellis' idea." Rochelle said. "Well then what the hell are we waiting for? Let's go!" Coach said.
"I hate freeways." Francis said. "Well there's a shocker, Francis hates something!" Zoey said. Louis and Bill laughed. "Ah, pipe down Zoey, if you know what's good for you." "I'm shaking." Zoey said. "Hey if it wasn't for me, that Hunter would have made you its bitch." Zoey sighed in slight annoyance at how true the statement was. "Well were to now fellas?" Louis asked. Bill cleared his throat, "I saw a billboard for an auto shop about half a mile back, according to the address, and it's not too far from here." "Well shit, the old man is still good for something!" Francis smirked. "Well Francis, the next time you decided to get your ass mopped up by a Witch, don't ask this old man to help you." Zoey chuckled.
"Did I ever tell you about the time me and Keith went to bayou on the Fourth of July? Well Keith thought it would be funny to see how long he could hold a fire cracker before it blew up. Well as luck would have it the cracker went off and completely tore off his…" "We don't have time for your hillbilly trials, Ellis." Nick said, "Okay." Ellis said. As they made there way down a hill, Rochelle slipped and slid down to the bottom, landing in a pile of putrid corpses. "Ew! This is freaking gross!" Rochelle said as she pulled her arms out of what she hoped wasn't someone's brains. "Say that looks like fun!" Ellis said and he slid down the hill. "WOOOHOOO!" Ellis yelled. "Would you keep your voice down!?" Nick yelled. "Hey watch you footing old man!" "Oh, shut up Francis." Rochelle, Nick and Coach all raised their guns at the noise coming within the woods above. Ellis was still sitting, not phased by the noise. "Sounds like survivors." Coach said. "Well I'm not taking any chances." and Nick shot into the woods. "What the hell are you doing Nick? They may be people!" Rochelle angrily whispered. "Yeah, well they could also be zombies too, better safe than sorry, Ro." Rochelle sighed.
"Hey?" What the hell was that for? We're people!" Louis said. "See!" Rochelle said. Ellis, Rochelle and Coach ran up the hill, Nick casually walked behind. When the trio reached the top of the hill, they saw the four survivors as they raised their guns. "Don't shoot! We're not zombies!" Rochelle said. "Oh thank god." Zoey said, "I don't think I can handle another zombie." "Well good luck sweetheart, this place is full of those blood sucking bastards!" Francis yelled. "Don't you mean brain eating?" Ellis added. "Vampires don't eat brains stupid." Francis said back. Coach chuckled at Francis' stupidity. "Where are you guys headed?" Coach asked. "We're going to the auto shop in the next town over." Zoey said. "Well shoot, we're headed there too!" Ellis yelled. "Well I suppose seven heads are better than four." Bill said, "We should go there together." "Make that eight heads." Nick added as he walked up the hill. "Well I guess we're good to go!" Bill said. The survivors headed out of the woods and back into the streets.
