Lying peacefully on a sun-drenched hillside, on the planet Gunsmoke, a couple rests, enjoying the light breeze that pushes huge nimbus clouds, slowly across the expanse of blue sky.
"Vash-sama?" The young woman, on her back in the lush green grass, arms thrown casually over her head, interrupts the lull, without opening her eyes.
"Hmm?" His simple reply. He opens one eye as he turns his head slightly to look at her.
She doesn't respond for a moment, as the breeze dances over them, ruffling the hem of her long sundress. Vash notices that his white-cotton long-sleeved shirt, which he'd undone earlier, had blown open, exposing his harshly scared chest. Opening his other eye and lifting his head, he fastens the top two buttons. He was still uncomfortable, even after all his years. Afterward, he crossed his arms behind his head once more.
"What do you dream about?" She asks softly, opening her light green eyes and reaching off to her right, where her wide brimmed hat had fallen. She set it lightly atop her head, to keep the double sun's rays from her eyes.
"My past, mostly, I guess, the people I've known, and loved, and"
She turns on her side, propping her head up on her left arm, facing him.
"Does it bother you?" He wonders aloud.
"No."

Yamete-yo! Stop! No! Ahhhhhhhh! Don't! Ahh-haaaaa Stop, stop, stop it!
She can hear his screams from inside and wonders idly from where she stands in this room how Vash is fairing. What are they doing to him, that makes his scream so terribly? "Kids! Vash! It's getting late, why don't you come in soon"
"Awww"
"Huh? Oh o.k." And the humanoid typhoon smiles up at his wife, from his usual position, under a pile of kids.

A.N. Ok the last part is just a joke, well I thought it was funny. Also yamete-yo is a harsh way of saying 'stop it' or 'don't', and the suffix -sama is used to show respect.
