Ancient Longing
A poem by Miaka to her beloved Tamahome.
Dawn;
Morning light.
I try to fight,
the thoughts of you
You're so far away.
Stinging;
into my soul.
So warm.
The feeling,
of you pulling me closer,
and I breathe into you.
Daydream;
your form, shape and aura.
It must be a dream.
You're like no man I've ever known.
Moonlight;
I creep up to the window,
and stare into the distance.
I always imagine you there,
parading up the steps to me.
With happiness in your eyes.
Always;
my love.
Now and forever,
you're the only one for me.
I will promise to be true,
I love you.
