Superhero
E/O Drabble Challenge, word: thread.
Summary: Playing the superhero wasn't exactly turning out as he'd imagined. In fact, it got him into a rather sticky situation.
A/N: This one's for Dizzo, awesome writer, artist and friend. I'm not good in baking birthday cakes, but take this as a compensatory :-) I hope you'll have a wonderful day with lots of sun and gifts and a perfect pie from your awesome husband.
Come to think of it – being Spiderman wasn't half as cool as he'd always thought. As was the image of getting sucked dry, ironically. He shuddered, gazing at the unpleasant leftovers of some major snack attack dangling from the cave. Maybe he should've listened to Sammy. Maybe his life wouldn't be hanging by a thread then.
A vibrating thread.
Crap!
He felt like cotton candy on a stick, her greedy eyes glued to him, her mandibles clicking.
"Nonono Lady, I taste like..."
There was a swoosh and a wave of burning heat and a bursting sound.
"Now who's a superhero..."
