ernestgoestocamp has stopped updating 50,000 volts so i'm going to continue it because I didn't get permission or was able to contact him so if ernestgoestocamp sees this I was just sad that you stopped updating it so i'm going to try my best to update it. This chapter will be a little shorter because it's christmas time. Please give ernestgoestocamp some love.
Chapter 39 (1) Rigel POV
W-what happened? I thought to myself as I open my eyes to a bright light. My vision was blurry but I heard the familiar voice of my dad. "A-are you okay?" he asks me.
"I-I don't know." I retort.
"Who did this to you!" he asks sternly.
"Team Rocket." I reply with a croaky voice. Dad walked out of the room with anger clearly on his face. Then it hits me, Orion! Lucas! I jolt out of bed, scaring the nurse. I yelp as I try to get out of bed but the pain in my stomach forced my to stay down.
"Calm down, you need rest after what happened." said the nurse with familiar pink hair. Calm down I thought as I remember at what happened. That's right two team rocket grunts, one guy and one girl, broke into my house to kidnap Orion, Lucas and I.
"Where is Orion and Lucas." I demanded.
"Who?" she confusingly replies. As I try a second time to get out of bed. The pain is worse this time but I need to go to my dad. I fall out of bed when I see a pokemon ball.
"Charmeleon!" I yell happily when I'm laying on the ground. The nurse turns around to see me on the ground.
"Hey what are you-" she says as charmeleon comes out of his pokeball.
"Charmeleon!" I say as I get up to help him. Dad walks in and sees charmeleon.
"Rigel, what did I say about having charmeleon out!" he yells.
"It's fine sir everything is pokemon proofed for the most part." The nurse retorts.
"For the most part, what does that mean! He could burn down the hospital!" He retorts angrily. Charmeleon acknowledges this and goes back in his ball. I stand up and ask dad "Where is Orion and Lucas?!".
"W-we don't know" he stutters as he replies.
I get dressed and start the painful trek to the food court. At the food cout I see many sick people and pokemon eating breakfast, it is morning after all. I walk over to the food line, Waffles with sausage or egg and cheese omelet, Pokemon- Pokemon food for all types, Pokepuff-$5. I go with the waffles and sausage. Even if they are not my favorite I need something. The waffles are dry and are nothing like moms and the sausage is rubber but I eat them because I am starving.
I let charmeleon out of his ball to eat too. He scarfs up the pokemon food and devours the pokepuff I got him.
"Char!" he says as he finishes his food.
"Ok it's time to go find Orion and Lucas." I say as I put Charmelon back into his ball grab my stuff and head out my door.
