Summary: If you haven't watched Series 4 episode 1 or 2 DONT read this! This will ruin it for you! This is Lancelot's thoughts before he made the Ultimate Sacrifice.

Lancelot's Ultimate Sacrifice
I watch as Gwaine gets knocked off his feet by some very powerful dark magic and falls unconscious. Now only
Arthur and Merlin remain. The dark sorceress motions for Arthur to step forward. He does so and Merlin uses his
magic to knock him out. Now there is only one more person, Merlin. I can't let him die. His life is more important
than mine. His time in this world is not yet over. I will step forward and I will face my death honorably as a
Knight of Camelot knowing that Arthur, Merlin and the people of Camelot will live on after my death. As Merlin
steps forward to make the Ultimate Sacrifice I quietly step behind him. I walk up to the tear in the earth while he
is distracted by the sorceress. I turn back one last time and smile at Merlin who is now staring at me in horror.
I smile to reassure him that I chose this fate willingly. Then I turn to face the tear one last time and step into the
blackness. Restoring balance to the world once more.
