Chapter 1: Congratulations
It was currently a cool fall noon in this wonderland and the young dark blond outsider by the name of Alice Liddell was sitting in a doctor's office, completely shocked, terrified, and speech less.
That morning after being sick for about five days she was forced by Elliot, Dee, Dum, and Blood to go to the hospital and see a doctor. Although because she had never been to the doctor for the two years she had been in this world, they did a full checkup to check for everything.
After two and a half time periods of waiting the doctor finally came in to see her. "Hello, miss Liddell. I'm Doctor James; it's nice to meet you." Said the middle aged faceless in the white coat holding out his hand to her. Shaking his hand she gave him a small smile "it's nice to meet you too, doctor." As he sat down he started to open her file "Well miss Liddell your test results came in and you seem to be two week pregnant." Her face showed her surprised as she stared at the doctor; her eyes wide and mouth moved up and down like she was going to talk but no words would came out. When she finally found her voice all she could muster was "Huh?" "Both your blood and urine shows that you are with child, that's why you've been feeling warmer, tired, and why you're nauseated, congratulations!" He said with a smile on his face turning towards his desk.
As Alice looked at the man she could still not believe what she heard. "I…I'm pregnant?" She said as she moving her hand over her stomach. "Yes, you're with child." Blood…Were having a kid…I…I have a life growing inside me. Wait but Blood. What will he think, what will he do. What well everyone else do, his a mafia boss. "Are you alright? Miss Liddell are you Ok?" The doctor said with concern putting his hand on her shoulders snapping her out of her thoughts. "Yes! It's just…it's just I don't know what to do. I'm going to be a mom." She said her hand still on her stomach and worry written all over her face. "I will be honest with you Miss Liddell…There has never been a case with a foreigner and role holder having a kid, so we don't know what to expect. I'm sure everything will be Ok, but you should be cautious and take it easy. I'm giving you the name of a gynecologist, she is amazing, the best of her field and I'm going to give you a list of books that will be helpful to you as well." As he said this he handed the list with the name of the other doctor and the titles of the books written on it. "Thank you, Doctor James." The young soon to be mom said as she walked out the door headed home to the hatter's mansion.
