Hello, lovely readers!
So, long time no see. My bad. Not sure how many of my readers are still left around here, or are even seeing this. Even so, I kinda wanted to post a bit of an update for you guys and let you know what's going on with my stories right now.
So, as you obviously know, it's been a while since my last post on this site. After I finished my last story, I kind of disappeared from the face of the planet and haven't really been on here since. And that's for several reasons. First of all, life got really busy for me. My mental health was not as it should be and I decided to take some time out to correct that and get myself better. It was affecting my life, my social life, my writing, everything. And whilst it's still not a hundred percent, I feel far better than I previously did.
Secondly I've had a lot on with planning my wedding (only 5 months to go. Eeep!) And as exciting as that has been, it's a very stressful and busy thing to do. So I put things like my writing on the sidelines in order to sort out serious real life stuff.
And thirdly, my muse for writing kind of died. I'm not sure why, whether it was RL stuff or whether it was because I'd been doing it constantly for so long, But my desire to write dwindled. It started becoming more of a chore rather than an enjoyable hobby. And I never wanted it to get like that. So I took time away to recuperate and try to regain that muse.
I feel like I have. I feel ready to write again and share all the stories I've had swimming around in my head all these months. And the story I promised you before my hiatus was a Finn Balor one.
I've wanted to do a Finn story for the longest time, so I'm so excited to delve into the world of the Balor. But before I do, I wanted the opinion of my lovely and wonderful readers on something.
Obvious my story will be in the romance and drama categories, but the person I wanted to ship Finn with isn't an OC like I've used in all my previous stories. I really want to do a story about Finn and Cathy Kelley. This is something that has been on my mind for months, especially since the speculation about them dating started. I freakin' adore Cathy. She's funny, smart, quirky, beautiful, and I love the idea of her and Finn being together. And after seeing them together at this year's Hall of Fame ceremony, I think the relationship is pretty much confirmed! So I wanted to explore that.
The story would be like my others, the pair meeting and finding their way to love through the crazy world of WWE, and I have some awesome plot ideas in mind.
But since this is my first story without the use of an OC, I wanted to see if you would all be interested in this Finn/Cathy Kelley idea. Would you guys be happy with Cathy, or would you prefer the usual route of an OC? I really want to do Finn and Cathy, but I want to write something that you'll all enjoy. So leave me a comment in the reviews and let me know what you think about this idea and which love interest you'd prefer. I have plot ideas for whichever choice you make.
