The earth is shaking,
And the sky is falling.
I can see the one
Whom my heart is calling.

He stands there in the dark,
his silouette glowing.
The stars are shining,
And the moon is showing.
x
His eyes are emerald green
And his hair black as the night.
My heart keeps thumping,
And merely upon sight!

He cannot see me,
I hide too well.
If he doesn't like me,
I will be nothing but a shell.

So I hide and hide
At a safe distance,
Even though my heart
Hurts at my resistance.
