Silvery wings glittering
A light show like the stars
Sparkling feathers shining
Under the full moon light
A closer look at the image
A nearer inspection perhaps
You should look beneath the surface
Find the truth behind that smile
What at first looks sincere
Seems kind, can be cruel
Can you see behind the mask
This pretence, the illusion
You look and stare but do not see
Listen to his words yet do not hear
Warning bells ringing
But you do not heed them
Until… until much too late
Silvery angel sparkling no more
Becomes a demon before your gaze
Splashes of red stain the picture
The kind smile no longer kind
In it's place a cruel smirk
Crimson dulls the silver
Silver turns to grey, everything
Fades to nothingness
Blood drenched angel
Smiles as he walks away
