Why is Shannon's new friend so wild, and why do her eyes turn yellow/green whenever she gets angry. Rhydian and and the pack know she's a Wolfblood, but does she?
Chapter One: The Yellow-Eyed Girl
"Stoneybridge!" said the girl with the yellow eyes, laughing.
"It sounds nice." She said to herself as she played in the fields above the town, watching as everyone continued with their everyday lives.
She could play for hours on end, that was what she was planning on doing when she caught the scent.
"Mommy?" she asked, a distant look in her eyes. She hurriedly ran off in search of the smell.
She ran for miles, stopping every few minutes to catch her breath. Eventually she came to a clearing where she saw four teenagers, a few years older than her, laughing as they kicked about a football, well three of them did, one of them, the one wearing glasses, stood still and stared around, inspecting the trees and plants.
Soon, the group dispersed, two people, a boy and girl, the ones who smelled like her mother, went to the left while the dark skinned boy trudged lightly up the hill to the right.
"See, ya later Shannon!" he said as he stuck up his hand, the girl recognized it as a sign of greeting and did the same to him. "Bye Tom!" she yelled after him.
The girl with the yellow eyes waited for a while, observing. When she saw that it was safe she came out of her hiding place.
"Who are you?" she asked as she playfully strolled over the girl called Shannon.
"Oh, hello!" said Shannon, shocked at the sudden appearance of this young girl. She had yellow eyes and she wore a light pink/ivory dress with flowers in her hair.
"You're a Wolfblood!" exclaimed Shannon, as she fell backwards, she scrambled through the ground.
"No silly! I'm Hope!" said the girl with the yellow eyes.
I know this was short, all of the chapters will be, I guess it's pretty obvious that Shannon is my favourite character, I have a crush on her.
