Okay, this was actually my Part 6 of "Happiness" that I wrote for The Gambit Guild (are you starting to see a character theme with my writing? Hmm… :p)  but I though "aw, what the hell" and decided to upload to my own account for the time being.  And I'm going to keep writing from here and do my own story *shrug* And, golly gee, I have more and more fanfiction coming soon, more parts, more yadda yadda.  Uhhh… don't own the X-Men yet, but Angel is still locked in my basement  ;D  Don't forget to stroke my ego and R&R ;)

Super Fun Happy Day

"Here you go everyone, dig in!" Jean chirped, setting down a stack of hot cakes that reached towards the ceiling.  Using her TK, she passed them out to each of the members sitting up at the table.  Looks were exchanged from all sides.

"So," Scott awkwardly started (small talk was not his strong suit, nor was spandex, but that never stopped him) "what's everyone up to today?"

"I dunno," seemed to be everyone's answers.

                "Sugah."

Storm reached out for corn syrup.  "It is a lovely day outside, perhaps maybe a drive into town?"

                "Ahem, sugah."

                "Oui Roguie?"

                "Sugah please."

                Remy cocked an eyebrow "Hehn?"

Socking him playfully (for her in any case, though he'd never admit to it, she did leave a nasty bruise on his shoulder) she pointed across the table.  "Could ya pass the sugah sugah?"

"See, that's what happens when you don't talk normal Rogue," Bobby smirked.

                "My chere talks normal."

"Normal like Gambit mon aim?"  Iceman went on in his best cajun accent.  "See, now watch as Bobby take de spicy hot sauce and put it on de pancake.  Un petite catfish bits mixed in de badda' be makin' it perfect, Bobby gar-*un*-tee!"

"I don' talk like dat, never in third person.  What gave you that idea?"

Psylocke mumbles something that sounded oddly like "Fox cartoon" so the group dismissed it as some weird British saying.

Hank looked up from his 'Science Journey Today!' magazine.  "I've got it!"

"The cure for the Legacy Virus?" Colossus asked.

"Um... not yet."  Uneasy silence.  "I meant for what to do tonight.  One world people, we'll go to a… DRIVE IN!"

Bobby's smart ass comment on how he thought it was 2 words was answered by multiple pan cakes being thrown his way, some charged, some by TK, and others at 50 mph.
