There sitting on a bench were two boys looking a bit…down… What may cause the gloominess? Of course, it was Sakura Haruno. She was grinning ear to ear like the Cheshire cat. Standing next to her was Sai. With a fake smile as usual.
Might want to know why Sakura was grinning like a goofball? Normally it was Naruto who wore that expression but I guess the situation wasn't just fit…
She was looking at a board in front of her that looked oddly like the result of the second part of the Chunin Exams. There, Team 7 was one of the top squads. Naruto Uzumaki: 254, Sasuke Uchiha: 257, Sai: 273 and surprisingly, Sakura: 283!
"Guys! What are we waiting for? Let's get going already! Come on!" said Sakura while grabbing Sai's wrist and ducking under the board and pulling along the pale boy with her. There were groups of squads filling in the tower.
"Tch, acting all smart just because she got results above us all." said Sasuke while glaring at the girl's back.
"Oh come on Sasuke-teme! Can't you just admit that Sakura-chan is smarter then all of us? She even deserves it!"
"I don't even think she understands what Amaterasu even means."
"Ba-ka-na-Sa-Su-ke-kun bleh!"
"U-su-ra-ton-ka-chi-Na-ru-to!"
After they said those…phrases, they went after their two teammates ducking under the board in the process.
"Hey, Sai!" whispered Sakura. She was pointing to another entrance. Sai followed her in and gazed at the passing teams with an unfazed look.
When Naruto and Sasuke passed, Sakura jumped and tackled both of them.
"Wha-! Sakura-chan!"
"Ugh Sakura! Get off me!" whined Sasuke. But Naruto seemed to enjoy a little bit more than necessary the attention he got from 'his' Sakura-chan…
"Come on… I don't even get to hug my boys?" pouted Sakura on the verge of crying.
"Uh no no! It's ok, I guess…" said Sasuke while trying to calm down his female teammate.
"Sasuke-teme! You made Sakura-chan cry!" exclaimed Naruto while hitting his head.
"Just kidding!" said Sakura, sticking out her tongue and running after the remaining squads down the hall.
"Hey, Sakura-chan! Wait for us!" yelled Naruto running after the pink-haired girl.
"Let's go Uchiha-san." said Sai following after their two teammates.
"This is gonna be a long, LONG day…" sighed Sasuke as he stood up from his spot on the ground and followed after his beloved teammates with a fond smile on his face.
