A/N: I'm taking a step out of my comfort zone and writing about a Ranger who I'm just now starting to take a liking to. Rocky. Jason is featured as well. This can run with the other Power Ranger stories that I have up but it can easily be a stand alone. However, it does mention slight Rocky/OFC. She's unnamed for now because I haven't developed her yet and takes place leading up before the Forever Red episode.
Just Say No:

Rocky wasn't surprised to find Jason at his doorstep. "Come in," Rocky offered.
"You know I can't stay long." Jason reminded him that he had a mission to go on.
Rocky rolled his eyes. "So you're going?"
Jason nodded. "Tommy said you weren't."
"I guess he thought if he sent the original Red that you might change my mind."
"Maybe."
"Don't bet on it." Rocky returned.
"Rocky-" Jason began but Rocky cut him off.
"Don't 'Rocky' me, I know what you're going to say," Rocky continued. "It's the same shit that I heard from Tommy..." he shook his head. "How the Earth needs me, how the Red Rangers need me."
"We could all use the help." Jason pointed out.
"Why don't you go get Adam?" Rocky questioned. "I'm sure he'll be gung oh about this. It wouldn't be the first time."
"This isn't a Black or Green mission," Jason acknowledged. "It's a Red one."
"Look I paid my dues all right," Rocky recalled the old days where they fought the baddies and saved Angel Grove countless of times. Jason was part of their team. Well, sort of. He was the Gold Ranger. Of course, they didn't know that at the time. Rocky was just thankful his theory of the mystery Ranger wasn't Billy. "I don't have to tell you how much we had to sacrifice back then... Things are different now."
"Honey, whose at the door?"
A familiar voice caught Jason's attention.
Rocky blushed which Jason caught. "You're turning red."
"Bite me," Rocky tossed at the original Red.
"Who is that?" Jason asked. He knew that voice. He just couldn't put a face to it right now.
Rocky blocked Jason from glancing in. If Jason saw who it was he never let him live it down. It was bad enough that the others made fun of him every chance they got. "The main reason why I'm staying."
Jason smirked at Rocky. "Don't tell me you actually settled down?"
"Not yet..." Rocky shared with him. All though, the idea had crossed his mind once or twice. "But the fact is... She has no idea about my Power Ranger days and I plan on keeping it that way. It's just nice to be normal. For once. I lost my teen years because of duty. I'm not going to miss out on what is suppose to be the prime of it all."
Rocky was ready to have whatever Jason was going to through his way. He was pretty damn sure that Tommy all ready disowned him from the Rangers now. However, Jason shocked him with understanding.
"It's cool bro," Jason assured him.
"How come you're not yelling at me?" Rocky questioned.
"Do you think I haven't stood where you have?" Jason asked. "I know it's hard. It takes someone with guts to go charging into battle but the way I see it... " Jason took this time to put a friendly hand upon his fellow Ranger's shoulder to let him know that it was okay. "It takes more courage to say no and stay for reasons they believe in."
Rocky smiled. "Kick some ass for me."
"Will do." Jason promised and with that Rocky watched as the original Red Ranger got back on his back and rode off to join the other Red Rangers. For a split second Rocky almost changed his mind.
"Close the door Rocky, you're letting all the cold air out."
Rocky smiled and went back inside.
End.
