For Old Times' Sake

Disclaimer: I do not own Yu Yu Hakusho. Unfortunately, I am not smart enough or that talented to come up with an idea as wonderful as Yu Yu Hakusho.

This is the first story I've ever written for Yu Yu Hakusho, and this is my first time ever posting anything on fanfiction.net. I just wanted to post this somewhere. It's really stupid, but I was bored at work and this popped into my head. I hope at least some people enjoy it.

The fighting was over. The Urameshi team had won the tournament. It was finally time for them all to go home.

"Hn. Are you done yet, Kurama?" Hiei asked his companion.

"Almost. I just have a few more things to pack."

Hiei ch'd and left to join the others, leaving Kurama by himself. Or was he?

'Shuuichi.'

Kurama sighed. What did Youko want now?

'Shuuichi.'

'What?'

'Let's take something. Something nice. For old times' sake.'

'No, Youko. We're not stealing anything,' Kurama said.

'C'mon,' Youko persuaded, 'just one thing. Take a pillow.'

'No.'

'Take a blanket.'

'No.'

'Take a towel.'

'No.'

'Then at least take the ashtray.'

'NO! Now shut up! I'm not taking anything!'

Youko fell quiet and said nothing else to Kurama, much to his relief. He didn't need Youko's voice buzzing in his mind like that.

Kurama checked around the room one last time making sure neither he nor Hiei forgot anything. He sighed, glad to be going home, and shut the door behind him.

The maid finished cleaning up the room that Hiei and Kurama had occupied. As she was leaving, she noticed something strange.

"Shoza?"

'It feels so good to be home,' Kurama thought as he walked into his room. He placed his bag on the bed and began to unpack.

Shirts. 'Youko sure has been quiet.'

Pants. 'He must be angry with me.'

Tunics. 'Well, I wasn't going to steal. I don't do that anymore.'

Sashes. 'I only did it again to save Mother.'

Kubikukuri Hotel Do Not Disturb sign. 'I don't . . . what?!'

'YOUKO!!!!'

Somewhere in his mind, Youko snickered.
