That was how long Kaname had always imagined he and Yuki would have together. They'd grow up together, get married, have their own children and watch them grow up and fall in love too.
He only got three years. Then he was taken by his uncle, whom he hadn't even known existed, and taken to the weird feeling room where his ancestor was said to sleep.
The last thing he remembers besides pain and terror is a dark sad voice whispering 'I will take care of her' then everything went black and he knew no more.
