Replacement: Vampy, you wanted this. (Based on my dream)

Axel's POV

I was just standing there, leaning against the wall for support, when Demyx came over.

"You okay Axey?" he asked sweetly.

I glared. "Don't call me that."

"But Axeeeey-" he pouted. He gave me the 'puppy dog look'.

"Demyx I told you-"

"And I told you, call me Demy." He whined.

"No fucking way." I stated firmly.

"Fine." He whispered. "You don't have to swear, damn."

"Uh, Dem," I stared at him strangely.

"Yeah?"

"Nothin'."

Demyx was silent for a moment. (Weird, huh?)

"Axel, why are you sad?" he asked.

"I'm not." I lowered my eyes to the floor.

"You're too quiet and you look sad." He said.

"It's nothing." I kept my head down.

"Why won't you tell me what's wrong?" he asked.

"Because there isn't anything to tell." I replied simply.

A tear slid down my face. There was a reason I was keeping my head down.

"Axel, are you crying?"

"No." I lied.

"Yes you are, I can see it."

"Well, even if I was it's none of your business." My tone was harsh and the words were sharp.

"I- I just wanna know so I can help." He said softly.

My tone softened. "I'm sorry Dem, I don't open up to people. I'm just not that kind of person."

"I know," he looked up at me. "I don't know why I thought I could get you to-"

I shrugged. "Sorry."

I put my hands in my pockets and walked away. I headed up to my room but-

"Axel, wait."

I turned back around to face Demyx. He wasted no time in pulling me into an embrace.

What the-? I thought.

I was tempted to pull free, but I felt too warm, too safe to let go.

He let go first.

"Feel better now Axey?" he smiled innocently.

I twitched. "N-no. That was…creepy."

I walked away for real this time. And this time he didn't grab me from behind.

That really was creepy, I thought. But still…
