Hey guys! I decided to fix this story because I really didn't know what to write for the next chapters so I made it into a one-shot, and well I'm not really good with doing paragraphs. So sorry if it's not that good. Bear with me. Lol and I guess that's so on with the story...

Best Friends?
By: Juliet Taylor

Haruka and Michiru were best friends. They knew everything about each other. They shared smiles no else could share, they shared laughs no else could share, they shared secrets no else could share, they shared hugs no else could share. They shared everything, and knew everything about each other.

They were there for each other, and trusted no one, but the other. They were close to one another, and protected each other with their lives. They couldn't hide anything from one another, even if they tried. They just read each other like an open book. They always knew what the other was feeling. When one would cry, the other would cry. When one of them laughed, the other would laugh. When one was sad, the other was sad. When one was happy, the other was happy.

Could they live without each other? No. They could never live apart each other. It would be like asking the wind not to run, the stars not to shine, the ocean not to wave. Impossible. They were one. They belonged together. Fed off of each other. They needed each other, like their lungs need air, like their hearts needed to beat, like a baby needed it's mother, like life needed love. Without each other they were never the same, like a fish out of water, like the stars with no shine, like the ocean without the sky. You rarely saw them apart. It was like they were attached to one another forever.

They complimented each other.

Yin and Yang,

Water and Wind,

Ocean and Sky,

Blonde and Blue,

Quiet and Loud,

Humble and Arrogant,

Obedient and Rebellious,

Beautiful and Handsome,

They seemed so different than the other, yet they were the same. They were both, strong, mature, courageous, distant, but so close to one another. You could never understand them, even if you tried your hardest, you never could. Yet they both understood each other so much it didn't seem logical. Their eyes were so loving, kind, free, and open, but only to each other.

Nothing and no one could break them apart, it was impossible to tear them away from the other. Even if you tried to, it would never work. They never doubted the other and were always there for each other. If they had to, they would sacrifice everything they had for the other. They leaned on each other for everything, and trusted the other with everything they had, even their lives. They had such a relationship that most people would never receive in an entire lifetime.

It was hard not to see the way they were around each other. You would have to be blind to not see that, but even if you were you could just feel it. Feel the affection and the care that they gave towards one another. They were each other's family as well as each other's best friend. They were each other's only weakness. They gave each other strength, and confidence. Without each other they were just a hollow shell of what they used to be.

It was beautiful what they had. There was just the way they looked at each other, the way they talked to one another, the way they would laugh with one another. It seemed so natural, so comfortable. They didn't even have to try, it just came naturally.

They genuinely loved each other, such a pure, warm, happy love. They helped each other. They cared about each other. They loved each other. What they didn't see was that they were perfect for one another.
