1:
"What do you listen to when we're in the air?"
"Nothing."
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah."
Derek comes back from the bathroom minutes later to find Spencer sitting his seat, massive headphone pressed against his ears.
"Reid!"
Reid switch it to the next chapter, them set the headphone on his lap. An all to coy smile on his lips. "'Twenty ways to connect with a genius' and 'Making him fall for you'?"
Morgan swallowed and considered locking himself in the bathroom for the rest of the trip.
2:
"So are you coming over straight after work?" He asks cheerfully.
"Reid?!" A harsh gasp
A deep frown. "What?"
A pointed glance around the room. "Not here."
"What's going on?" Emily has to know, they've been passing glances and smiles back and forth all day.
"Morgan and I are-"
"Training together in a gym by his house." Morgan cuts off, efficiently shutting Reid up.
A half hour later after they're being hustled onto the plane and Emily can't help but lean over, "So you and Reid are having seriously a Star Trek marathon?"
Morgan doesn't look the woman in the eyes for the next eight hours.
3:
"Are you seriously telling me I'm going to freeze?"
"You're not going to freeze."
"The heat's off and you've got like two blankets. I wish you had told me this before I came over."
"Such a drama queen."
"Do you really not have any more blankets?"
"Well-"
"Well?"
"I've got one."
"Get it."
"No."
"Derek. If you don't get up right now and get it I'm breaking up with you."
"It ain't that cold."
"My toes are numb."
"Fine!"
Seconds later, Reid feels Morgan drape a light layer over him. He tilts his head up then promptly starts laughing.
"You're baby blanket?"
"Shut up."
Morgan crawls back under the cover and buries his face in the pillow.
4:
"I like when you do that."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"I like doing it."
"Then do it again."
Reid's arms wrap around Morgan head and holds him against his chest, like a mother holding a child, or a lover giving comfort. Morgan burns red but doesn't move. He likes it too much.
5:
"Maybe it's because I love the way you act like you're so tough and hard as nails when you're really the most gentle person I've ever met. Or maybe it's just because at the end of a long day I know you're going to be there. I know you're going to be the who's arms will always be open and always makes me feel like the world is a good place. I don't know …maybe it's all those reasons and a dozen more I can't think of. Whatever it is…I love you."
Morgan glances down at his own vows, written on a napkin and smudged with ink. He looked around at the crowd then blushes. "Well I was gonna say some romantic dribble about you being intelligent and perfect for me…But I think I'll just say I love you too."
He ignores the crowd of applauds friends and family, ignores the fact that the judge hadn't told him too, ignores his own blushing face and leans in to kiss his husband for the first time.
