Title: Revelations
Pairing: Claire/Gretchen

Summary: What would of happened if Claire and Gretchen had not been interrupted immediately after the kiss

I decided to dip my toes back in to the fan fiction waters for the first time in a while and have been disappointed at the show's handling of the Claire/Gretchen storyline, so here is how I think it should have played out. Number of chapters to be determined.
Chapter 1: Confessions
"I'm not stalking you, OK I'm a little bit stalking you" Gretchen admitted after Claire had confronted her. "But it's not what you think" Gretchen continued before kissing Claire on the lips. Initially there was an awkward silence between the pair as neither of them were quite sure how to react. Eventually Gretchen said: "Say something" before Claire replied: "I'm not sure exactly how to react when I find out my roommate has a crush on me".
The truth was, Gretchen had a crush on Claire from very early on. Initially, she was fascinated that the cheerleader she had discovered survived a high school massacre three years before was at her university. However, Gretchen was struck by how beautiful the blonde was.
When Claire asked Gretchen to be her roommate, she couldn't believe her luck. Despite that, she was reluctant to confess her true feelings as she wasn't sure if Claire felt the same way, or was even into girls.
Later that evening, the two were relaxing in their dorm room, or at least trying to, when Claire turned to her friend and said: "Gretchen, I think you and me need to talk". "I think I know what about" Gretchen replied.
"I want to apologies if I acted a bit weird earlier" Claire continued "I was just a little surprised". Gretchen then admitted that she had wanted to tell Claire, but didn't want to ruin their new found friendship. Claire reassured her by saying that no matter what they are still friends.
The two then shared a hug and when they pulled away, there faces were just inches apart. At that moment, Gretchen had the overwhelming urge to kiss Claire again. The truth was, exactly the same thoughts were running through Claire's head. She even found herself stroking the side of Gretchen's face with her hand.
She then began to lean in to kiss Gretchen, but snapped herself out of it and said: "I think it's about time we watched a movie".
