Author's Note: This is my first fanfiction so be nice to me.
Anyway, this your Typical someone in Dorothy's shoes (in The Wizard of Oz) story. So here is a list of characters:
Dorothy- Me (Zac)
Aunt Em- My Mom
Uncle Henry- My Dad (in this story they're married but in real life, they're divorced)
The farmhands- My brothers Eyan and Earl (not farmhands and they are not the Scarecrow's, Tin man's, and Lion's alter egos, sorry)
Professor Marvel- My old gifted teacher from Richard E. Miller elementary school, Mr. Scott (not Wizard's alter ego, sorry again)
Mrs. Gulch- My mom (in a split role don't ask why) (Mrs. Gulch has 2 alter egos Witch of the East and West, but, she is only playing East)
Toto- my stupid dog, Emma
Now for the actual story
(don't own Wizard of Oz by the way)
Zac just finished watching The Wizard of Oz with his sister, Sara, for the 100th time today (he likes The Wizard of Oz but to him, Wicked is better) when he got heard a commotion and went outside to see what it was." There you are Zac, Emma came in in my backyard again and ate my carrots. AGAIN!" "Oh hello Mrs. Rush." "I'll have none of that Hello stuff!" Zac's mom hears this and comes and tries to put a stop to this. "Mrs. Rush, you must be growing good carrots if Emma eats them. "Well I don't like it, so I talked to my friend, the Governor of Arizona, and he said to put her down." After hours of protesting, Zac runs away before Mrs. Rush took away Emma and went to Mr. Scott's (his old teacher) house, however, he convinced him to go back because his mother would be sad. When he got back, his dad was home from work and telling everyone (Eyan and Earl, Zac's Brothers, Zac's Mom, and Sara) to go underground because a twister was coming. "But dad, we don't get twisters in Arizona" Zac said, "Well, we're getting one now. Hurry." It turns out, that Madam Morrible (from Wicked) was the cause of this twister, but Zac didn't think about it at the time. Emma ran into the house and Zac ran after her just as the twister rose the house. Soon after realizing this, Zac got hit in the head with a couple of clothes hangers and it knocked him out. 2 minutes later, he was awake again and saw Mrs. Rush outside his window, turning into a witch. Soon after, thr house came down with a thud.
How's that for a chapter one!? Well, I'm giving you guys a chance to be in the story.
