He slammed the door behind him, completely ignoring whoever walked by. He didn't know where he going, but he sure as hell wasn't staying in that house. Sometimes he doesn't understand what made him want to marry such a woman. All she ever did was complain and whine. She was just, so...
Annoying
Sighing, he decided to take a walk, maybe that'd cool him down.
Meanwhile, back inside of their home, his wife was just as irritated. Panting, she pulled back her fist, examining what remained of their dinning table. Honestly, her husband was such a pain in the ass! One day she'd leave and he'd regret being such a jerk!
She would deal with the mess later. Instead, she would work off her anger by doing some reading. Tossing her apron aside, she pulled a random book off the shelf.
Their photo album.
Not exactly reading, but it would do. Humming, Sakura looked through the book, giggling and cooing at their daughter's baby pictures. Completely skipping over the section with their wedding photos, she decided to look back at her photos from her teenage years.
It seemed like just yesterday she was traveling with Naruto and Sai, searching for the love of her life. Fighting Sasori, curing Kankuro, almost stabbed to death by the man she now calls her husband, even surpassing her teacher!
Shaking her head, she continued to flip through the book. A certain photo caught her eye.
Team 7's first photo.
This one was always her favorite. The look of irritation on her teammates faces', and her bright smile sandwiched in between. So much had changed in the blink of an eye. Suddenly, a strange feeling washed over her.
She looked down to see the rest of her body beginning to glow.
"What the hell?"
She vanished.
Another Uchiha found himself in the same predicament. He stood cautiously, readying for an unexpected attack. Besides the flashy glowing part from before, nothing else seemed different. He was in the same spot as before and it was the same time of day.
He decided returning home who be the best decision for now. He stepped forward, still on high alert.
Swish.
Seconds later, he katana clash with a kunai.
"Just what do you think you're doing in our village?" A young genin emerged from the bushes. Sasuke frowned at the familiar face.
"Not that it's any of your business, but I live here." The younger male mirrored his expression. Not once had he seen this man around the village.
"State your name."
Not that he was taking orders from a brat, but Sasuke wanted some answers, and he had a feeling telling this kid would get him some.
"Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha." His face morphed from shock, to confusion, to anger. He lunged toward the older ninja. Though he was skilled for his age, he still wasn't skilled enough. He was easily avoided and pinned down.
"As if you were an Uchiha! Are you mocking me, do you know who I am?" He squirmed, trying to wiggle loose.
"Listen Sasuke, I don't know how the hell I got here but I sure as hell know who I am." Alright, at least that told him he knew who he was.
"Fine, if you're Sasuke as well, then explain why you're here."
"I would have earlier had you not tried attacking me, shut up and listen." Loosing his hold on the boy, Sasuke told him all that had happened before he was transported there. They had both came to the conclusion that somehow he had traveled through time.
Now that his past self seemed to trust him a little more, he had released him completely. They both leaned against a nearby tree, trying to think of how he was able to travel through time to the past. After minutes without any idea, the younger Sasuke spoke up.
"Have we killed him yet?"
"Killed who?" He looked down, already aware of who he was talking about.
"You know, Itachi." He gave the older man a strong gaze. His eyes filled with emotions from anxiety to anger. Sighing, Sasuke looked away from the younger boy.
"Listen, I don't want to say something that will affect the future. I will say however, that in a while you're going to become strong, and you're going to make a lot of decisions, some that you wont be very proud of later."
That wasn't exactly the answer he was looking for. The genin leaned back again, not wanting to peruse the topic any longer.
.
.
.
"W-who are you?" Sakura stared at the kunai directly in front of her face. A younger version of herself trembled before her. Pushing the weapon aside, she rose to her feet, dusting off the grass on her pants. Hopefully the stains would come out.
"Don't attack me, as crazy as it sounds, I think I'm you from the future." The girl's eyes widened, though not a minute later she narrowed them. There was no way this lady was her from the future. Maybe this was a set-up, a genjutsu.
She jumped backwards and attempted to release herself from the illusion.
Nothing happened. That was good, at least that meant she didn't have to be as cautious. She positioned the kunai in front of her, ready in case of an attack.
"If you really are me from the future, prove it. Tell me something only I would know." The older woman racked her brain for all secrets she had as a child. What was something even Ino didn't know. Then it hit her.
"His hair, the lock of Sasuke's hair that you keep under the folded clothes in the wardrobe." She gasped, she was telling the truth! Eager, she latched onto her future self, ambushing her with questions. Laughing, Sakura told the genin to calm down.
"How'd you get here, why are you here?" Her eyes gleamed with admiration, she wanted to know everything about herself.
"I'm not exactly sure, I was looking through some photos and suddenly appeared here."
"Are we married to Sasuke, do we have kids, are we strong?"
"I think you'll just have to wait if you want to know about the first two, but we're crazy strong now." She raised a fist as emphasis. Her younger self giggled in response.
"Bummer, but alright. I really hope we're married to Sasuke though, with three kids!" Sakura almost grimaced. She was able to withstand all types of pain during her time as a ninja, but childbirth was a totally different ball game.
"I just have one more question, is Sasuke still the same Sasuke? I don't mind if he's still as prideful as he is now. But I worry about him. He seems lonely, and I really want to be there for him, I'm desperate."
Sakura was in complete shock. The younger had awoken something in her, and guilt started to take over. How could she have even let such thoughts arise. Leave Sasuke? As if she'd actually try doing that. Although he irritated her to no end sometime, she couldn't imaging living another day without him. She'd apologize to him as soon as she was back.
"Well, is he?" She smiled warmly, looking down at her past self.
"Sasuke's just fine, he's still pretty arrogant, but I have a hunch he's not as lonely as before."
.
.
.
Sasuke was feeling uncomfortable yet again. He was so used to hearing his two teammates squabble, this awkward silence felt horrible.
"Got any kids?"
"Yep."
"So, are we married now?"
"Yep."
"Do I know her?"
"Yeah."
"Are you sure, I can't imagine anyone from our village. The girls here are so, annoying." If Sasuke were any other man, he'd grin at that statement. There was no doubt his wife was annoying, but that's what he loved about her. He wanted her by his side, annoying the hell out of him until the day he died. He needed to get home soon to tell her so.
"She's annoying, but trust me, I wouldn't want her any other way." The genin gave him a confused look. He had a feeling his younger self wouldn't understand. The kid had no idea what it was like to be in love.
He'd learn about it soon enough.
Sighing, Sasuke got up from his spot underneath the tree. He needed to find a way home soon, Sakura and Sarada were probably worried sick about him.
"Come on kid, help me find a way home."
"I think that's already taken care of." Sasuke didn't have a chance to ask him what he meant. Just like before, a tingling sensation washed over him. His body began to glow. And just like that, he was gone.
.
.
.
H-hey, you're glowing!" The girl said in a nervous tone. Sakura looked down at her and to see that she was right. Guess that meant it was her time to go.
"It's been fun talking to you, but I need to get back to my family. Take care, and don't forget to train!" Not a second later, she vanished.
Sakura found herself sitting on her couch, with the photo album resting on her lap. The hour she had spent with her past self seemed like a dream. As fun as it was, she was glad to be home.
She got up from her spot on the couch when the door opened. Gasping, she dropped the book and dashed into the hall. Sasuke was taking off his sandals when a pink blob hurdled itself at him.
"Welcome home."
He ruffled her bright colored hair. He had just gotten home and things were already turning out okay. Things were going to be okay, they would still need to talk about earlier and they'd probably still have disagreements in the near future.
But that was alright, nothing could stop him from loving such an annoying woman.
