Inside the small office, three young adults sat facing an old man. One of the teens, ruffled his already unruly black hair in frustration, his friends glancing at him. The old man's eyes twinkled and he began to talk...

"I have a mission for you three..."

A fluffy, golden brown cat stared up at Ron and Harry, seeming to glare at them. It's intelligent brown eyes held Hell's wrath. Suddenly, with a whoosh of air, a girl, much shorter then the boys, but the same age of them, stood in the cat's place.

"You two, always fooling around! You could have revealed that I was... I was... a oh nevermind. Just NEVER say my name again if you pass me in the halls in my cat form- Just act like I'm Crookshanks or something!" The boys glanced sheepishly at each other and grinned.

"I'M SERIOUS YOU TWO!!!" she cried, exasperated.

Ron, in an attempt to change the subject brought up their new mission. Ever since they had been allowed to be somewhat like junior members to the Order of the Phoenix, they had been given small, but important missions from Dumbledore to find out things like who was planning to be a Death Eater, or who should be watched over so they would be protected while they were still boarding at Hogwarts.

Hermione's whole face did an abrupt change from one of anger to curiosity. She frowned, thoughtful.

"I don't understand why he would want to tail Malfoy- I mean it's rather obvious that he will become a Death Eater like his father. Unless perhaps there's more to that bloody ferret then we know..."

"Maybe Malfoy really is nice and warm on the inside." Harry muttered sarcastically. Hermione and Ron grinned.

"Do you think Dumbledore might recruit him to be a spy like Snape?" Hermione asked, thoughtfully.

"BUT THE BLOODY FERRET IS GOING TO BE A DEATH EATER!" Ron nearly yelled, not believing that Hermione could possibly be considering Malfoy being well, with the good guys. The group had to admit that it would be rather strange seeing him in that light- kinda like Snape, good guy, but horrible git.

"Maybe Malfoy is already a Death Eater and he wants us to find out what he's up to?" Ron said, saying it as if try and get his friends to confirm it as the real reason they were on this mission.

Hermione looked at her watch and her eyes widened.

"Got to go, see you guys later- Head Girl duties, and joy- I'm with Malfoy tonight!" And she rushed out of Gryffindor common room.

Draco Malfoy sat on one of the squishy couches in front of the fire in the Heads Common Room. It was a cozy place, not as luxurious as his mansion of course, but still, it was nice. He glanced at the portrait hole in irritation.

"Where is that damn girl." He muttered to himself. With a bang, the portrait hole opened, and Hermione ran in breathless.

"You're late." He drawled in a bored tone.

"Oh I beg your forgiveness your highness." She rolled her eyes.

"I like the sound of that." He said smirking.

She smacked him, none too lightly and the two left the common room, glaring at each other.
