"Charlene Turner hmm...", Maybeck sat at the local diner on a bar stool reading over the latest gossip from the magazine he had in his hand. "Never heard of that one before." Maybeck was being sarcastic, he never knew anything about anyone all he knew was that everyone feared him, he had built up quite the reputation over the years.

His immediate thoughts when first seeing the picture of the girl on some magazine with multiple segments on "How to Make Them Come to You" was that the former Disney star had taken the Miley Cyrus route but, without the shaving of the head and horrible twerking.

Maybeck's inspection of the girl's history came to a halt when the door of Marcy's Dine-in and Drive-in chimed open, welcoming in a stranger with the most ridiculous hat he had ever seen. The body was obviously a woman's and locks of blonde peeked out of the fedora. He trained his eyes on her, not even bothering to hide his scrutinizing gaze when she locked eyes with him.

When he saw straight into the crystal blue orbs a wave of recognition washed over him causing him to do a double take. Then, he thought he did another double take because no one made him uneasy like this. She strode purposely over to him leaning close enough he could smell her minty fresh breath. "Excuse me but would it be a bother if you pretended to be my boyfriend.", she completely threw him off saying it as if this happened every day.

It was only after this strange request did he notice the mob of sscreaming girls outside. She seemed to notice his hesitation and continued on pleading, "Please, it'll only be for a few minutes I just want to eat something!" Something inside him began to feel pity for the poor girl who seemed awfully desperate, this space inside him felt so bad that he gave her a nod. "Oh thank God!", glancing at the crowd to make sure they were still watching she placed her bright red lipstick-stained lips to his cheek causing him to blush.

After the quick gesture she began taking off her heavy clothes revealing a baggy sweater and some leggings but also, the face of the girl who Maybeck had just been reading about. Dang, did he feel stupid. His adoring gaze lasted a little too long and caused her cheeks to heat up as well. While looking around to avoid his eyes she spotted the magazine still clutched in his calloused hands. Nothing surprised her more than the fact that he had been reading about her.

She quickly dismissed that detail while pulling a stool close to his and sitting down. Charlene's dainty hand reached down and grabbed his rather large one, both of them received instant sparks. Charlene immeadiatly took the lead after that engaging Maybeck in conversation and sending him flirtatious glances every now and then with the occasional kiss and giggle.

After a few long minutes of this 'date' the waitress who had taken Maybeck's order early on in the evening arrived with his milkshake, burger, and side of fries. Charlie's (the new nickname Maybeck had given her) eyes hungrily scraped over the food being placed in front of the boy. "Oh hi sweetie! Would you like me to fix you up something?", the middle-aged waitress who's nametag stated 'Jessica' politely asked Charlene.

Charlie ordered just a milkshake and fries explaining to Maybeck about how she was on a diet for an upcoming music video. After the two finished eating and Maybeck had payed for the both of them they both glanced out the window at the crowd who sure enough, had probably video taped the entire thing. Charlene visibly saddened when she told the boy she had to leave. "You know, I wouldn't mind going on another date with you if you gave me your phone number.", she said hopefully hinting towards another date.

Maybeck let out a deep chuckle still not speaking any words, took out a sticky note, wrote something down and stuck it to the magazine which had somehow during the conversations ended up right next to Charlene. After he completed these actions he simply left the diner causing her to deflate as she watched him make his way through the crowd of fangirls who were already begging to get the poor guy's autograph even though they didn't know his name.

Before she even dared herself to go out and face the wrath that is the paparazzi she quickly skimmed over the simple note:

Char,

I wouldn't mind being your date a few more times :) (insert phone number here)
