"Hulk ... SMASH!" Kevin screamed as he picked up a poor woman's Honda and threw it into the pavement.

Oh man," I sighed. Why did I have to babysit the idiots? "Kevin, we're supposed to be laying low. Riley said-"

"Riley said!" Kevin mocked in a voice that sound almost as high pitched as her's. "Get a spine, Diego. Riley's not here." Then he proceeded to break the driver side window and pulled the lady out. The blond kid, Josh, decided it would be a great idea to fight for the screaming lady's blood. That's fine with me. Maybe they would tear each other apart. If only I were that lucky. They only snarled at each other and tore her in half.

I couldn't handle it anymore. "I'm outta here," I managed to mutter before I had to get away from the blood. I ducked into an alley and climbed the wall and heard the one girl in our hunting group follow. At least one of the group members knew how to use their brain.

"Idiots! Like Riley wouldn't give us instructions for a good reason. Self-preservation, for example. Is an ounce of common sense so much to ask for?"

"Hey," The girl behind me called. "Are we going to hunt anytime soon? My throat's on fire here."

That surprised me. That was the first time she had spoken up all night. I turned to face her and she jumped back like I was going to attack her.

"Yeah," I replied with a curious smile. "I just wanted some distance between me and the lunatics."
