Disclaimer: I don't own any portion of anything Square related...
Thought I'd take a break from my main story and put out a little poem. Am I poet? No! I've just been reading a lot of little fics on Burmecians, Freya and Fratley, that I thought I'd attempt to broaden my horizons. Hope you guys like it.
This story is about Freya, from the day she was born till the day she died.
The Burmecian Angel...
In a world far, far away
A Burmecian soul was born,
Born amongst the muddy clay.
She opened her little eyes
And lifted her weary head,
In a beautiful world to realize.
She loved her kingdom
And it loved her as well.
She became a knight
Who disappeared in the sky.
A most marvelous sight.
She fell in love
With a nation's hero,
Who could also fly above.
She was happy.
That we could tell.
Then, he went away,
The hero she doth love,
To hunt threatening prey.
He did not return
But, she went to search
For his death to learn.
She was broken
In a lonely hell.
A beloved friend
Came and took our heroine
To Gaia's ultimate end.
On her journey,
She found her lost love,
Where the rain was not pouring.
But, his memory faded
Like a Burmecian bell.
She could not bare
To lose him once,
But, twice was just unfair.
Her heart was broken
That lovers words of love
Could not be spoken.
Love's memory could not
Be simply for sell.
Thus, after the end,
She came to him,
Her own God-send.
She then leapt
Higher than any other,
And only memory was kept.
That's how Freya,
The Dragon Knight fell.
Let me know what you guys think. How can I improve my poetic talents? If that's what they can be called...
I was having a hard time separating it into blocks so I made one block bold and the other not bold and so on, so forth...
