Keep yourself warm
He was the most wanted guy in the school. There were heaps, no mountains of girls who wished they were his next target. He enjoyed the ups of his fame in public, flaunted his swoon worthy smiles and flirted with all girls that he saw fit. The downs, on the other hand were handled in private. Angry exes and girls who stalked him and the pressure of always being "The Playboy" were just some of the problems that the beloved troublemaker had with his fame.
Nobody noticed, except his friends I guess, that it wasn't the same for him anymore. He didn't want to be the guy that all girls wanted to sleep with, but never considered to have a relationship with. He didn't want his friends who weren't a Marauder to ask him to stay away from their girlfriends because they were afraid he'd steal them. He hadn't cared before, but now in his last year at Hogwarts, he wanted to change.
You might all be wondering why he got the sudden want to change. He met someone, over the summer. She was beautiful and funny and kind. And she wasn't interested in him at all. But he wanted her, so bad. So he started to hang out at the small coffee shop where she worked, talking with her about anything, everything. They became friends. She was a Muggle, of course, so he didn't tell her about the magic, but everything else. They talked of his twisted family, of his havoc wreaking friends and of love. He didn't believe in love, and who would living in his world. She found that a saddening thought, that there was no love in the world. She believed in it, in the life-long romance and the one true love. By the passionate way she talked of her conviction, he wanted to believe in it, to have the same fate in life as she had. She lighted up his world of darkness, of loveless relationships and for the first time he felt completely content with someone outside the Marauders.
And then she disappeared. The owner said she actually lived in the U.S. and that she had to go back. He felt abandoned since she hadn't told him she was leaving but then the owner pulled out a letter, said it was for him. It was from her. He smiled after reading and left the small coffee shop.
When the summer ended everyone and everything was the same. Girls through themselves at him as soon as he stepped onto the train station, guys glared at him for the attention he got and his friends laughed. The only thing that has changed was that the notorious Sirius Black wasn't interested in even flirting with any of the girls because he now had a girlfriend that he loved. And that girl was me.
The end
"So children, that is how your uncle and I met and how we got together."
"Auntie didn't you tell Dad that you met Uncle at a love hotel?"
"….This is how we met, now shut up and go to sleep."
