An: this is a quick one-shot that came to mind because I always feel bad that the band has to sit around and watch everything just happen and that they get no interaction themselves.
Quinn had been feeling, well awkward lately. No she didn't all sudden want Rachel, like everyone thinks. She wasn't even sure how that rumor started. They are just friends, nothing more. Besides Rachel is engaged to Finn, even if Quinn didn't approve of her stupidity. No the person she was falling for was a member of the band. Her eyes latch on to the sight of him. She's only interacted with him once, and that was at sectionals this year. He was slightly taller than her, but not overbearing. His eyes were a chocolate brown, whilst his hair was deep dark brown curled on top upon his head.
He played the drums. Yes her ex-boyfriend Finn played them as well, but he played them differently. She wasn't sure if it was because he actually knew beat, rhythm and whatever else came to music or that it just looked second nature to the boy. She continues watching him beat at the drums, not even noticing that Tina was actually singing a solo, in who knows how long of a time.
Will she risk it? Will she talk to him or will she freak out and give up? No, her Quinn Fabary will go ask him out. What if that's too forward?
She was too focused on the mysterious drummer boy that she had neglected to realize that Glee club was done.
"You know that you can leave" a mysterious voice said, to her, Mysterious because it didn't sound like her fellow glee club members. Quinn looked up to find the drummer starring at her.
"oh thanks" she replied and dusted herself off "Can I ask what your name is?"
She was so fearful that he would blow her off and not answer
"Kyle" the boy said, "my name is Kyle"
"Well Kyle, I'm Quinn. It's nice to finally talk to you" Quinn blushed.
Kyle and Quinn exchange glances and walked off to opposite ends to finish their day at school. All Quinn could think about was Kyle and how he made her feel without saying one word.
An: please please review. also this is only a one shot, because I don't know how to further it. I might be able to write another story like it in the future that is more than one chapter but not now.
