Haven't Forgotten- Makorra Oneshot
A/N: This is how I felt about how rediclious it was for Mako to get together with Asami only after 1 week of the breakup.
Korra sent a slash of water towards Bolin, knocking him off his feet as he was about to bend a chuck of earth. Korra walked to Bolin offering a hand and chuckled.
"Ha, three to zero! I don't think another match is necessary!" She said happily as she placed her tan hands on her hips.
Bolin smiled at her. "Fine. But you're the avatar so that's not fair at all."
Korra raised her hands in the air. "Excuses are all I hear!"
Mako walked into the gym of the arena and called for Korra. She quickly turned her head around and saw him. She frowned. It'd had been five weeks since they broke up, and it was still annoying to see him around.
"What?" She replied annoyingly.
"I've had something I've been meaning to tell you. For quite a while actually." He answered back to her. Then, right then and there, Asami walked up to Mako and hooked her right arm around his left and kissed his cheek. "We're dating again." Korra didn't mind at first, but when he said "for quite a while actually" tells her that they've been dating long before now.
"How long has this been happening?" Korra asked suspiciously.
Mako lifted his free arm and scratched the back of his neck. "Well, like I said. For quite a while, so...a week after we broke up." That hurt. Korra felt like her heart being stopped on. Was that all it took for him to forget about them?
"Oh." She just decided to say, but added more. "I didn't realize I was that easy to forget about." Then, Korra's thoughts added more, but only to herself. "Because secretly, I still think about us before we broke up." She silently left the gym and went back to Air Temple Island. The avatar was done with romance. She tried it once, and she doesn't recommend it. But she still couldn't forget about the great and happy moments they had. She still hasn't forgetten.
