A Thing Called Love

A little ditty,

About a girl and a boy.

One was dark,

The other filled with joy.

He heard her laugh, he saw her smile,

However, it was, for just a little while.

She was dark, But not by choice.

Yet she felt peace when she heard his voice.

Though as a teen, she would not admit,

He was really cute, more than just a little bit

Times were hard and life was fast.

Before they knew it, their teen hood had passed.

But he did not stop, our green little friend.

He would make her smile 'til his very end.

And so he did, with a ring and a kiss.

It was a wedding no one wanted to miss.

Three children arrived in the coming years.

All white skinned with pointing ears.

They loved their children and each other like no other.

Two sons and a daughter, a father and mother.

To many their love was strange at best,

Defiantly not a family like the rest.

But there was one thing that no one really knew,

Opposites attract; that surely is true

I just got off being grounded so I thought I'd celeibrate with a poem. Hope you enjoyed!
