After her little mistake with Christopher, Luke has the choice to give it one more chance, or call it good.

"Luke, I'm sorry." Lorelai whispered turning around only to find that he wasn't standing there. The echo of the door closing only furthered a tear that trailed down her cheek. She hadn't meant to hurt him, with her supposed fling with Christopher. Now she knew that it was wrong on so many levels.

Wiping away the tear, she hastily flung open the door. "Luke?" The stir of a cold night and the moon shining upon her as well as her shivering body as she stepped onto the patio seemed almost like the only things she had left. "Please come back. I never meant anything to hurt you." She whispered. "I love you Luke, and only you. You need to understand that." Lorelai proclaimed as the wintry air seemed to take her words and led them in a trail.

What she didn't seem to know was that Luke was standing just on the other side of the garage, and he had heard every word. She was so broken, sincere, something in her voice that nagged at him for him to give her a second chance as he laid his forehead against the metal garage doors and sighed.

There had been so many times they had cut each other off after wrong doings. This time could be just the same way, or it could be different. Now he just had to make a decision. Looking at the bright moon, he sighed and rounded his way around the corner. Doubted that she had seen him at first as the moon drew out his body. "Promise me one thing Lorelai Gilmore."

She didn't jump at the sound of his voice, just stared at nothing for what seemed like minutes. And then finally her voice although hoarse broke through. "Anything."

"Tell me there will be no more secrets between us." He stepped closer and could make out a glint of another tear.

She sniffled, "I promise." Lorelai didn't move like she was frozen, heck she was frozen. But somewhere inside she felt warmth.

And he could see it. "Come let's go inside." He placed his hand around her waist as they made their way in, closing the door behind them.
