Don't own Naruto .o.o.
"Momma, why are the boys in bed? It's like twelve in the afternoon," Setsumi stood on a chair she dragged in from the study to see what her mother was making at the stove. She watched her cut up carrots, celery, and pieces of chicken and then adds some freshly made noodles.
"They are in bed because they are sick, because they were out in the rain yesterday training when I told them to stop and come in; but did they listen to me? No, I'm only their mother and a medical nin, but I know nothing!" Sakura's ranting went unnoticed by the child at her side as she was to busy watching the broth simmer in the pot.
"But daddy's in bed too."
"That's because you're father is hard headed, and was out there too; I swear no one listens to me!"
"I do momma, I wasn't outside last night."
"Yes I know sweetie."
Upstairs moans, and groans of pain and coughing could be heard from the stairs as Shiori's froggy voice could be heard... not very clearly. "Momma... I'm hungry."
"It'll be done in a few minutes, get back in bed young man right now!"
"Ah mom!"
"Bed Shiori, and tell your brother that if he leaves his bed neither of you are getting soup!"
"Momma!"
"Bed!"
Setsumi giggled as the fight continued between her mother and brother, and pretty soon she would be chasing him back into his room; Setsumi couldn't wait to see that. After the lunch was handed out to the sicklings upstairs both mother and daughter relax in the sitting area with their lunches. At this time the head of the house decided to make his appearance for the day.
"Sasuke, what are you doing out of bed!?"
"Hn."
"Daddy... you should listen to momma, she is a medic and she's knows what she's talking about," Setsumi repeated her mother's words from earlier, which made the older woman smile. Sasuke glared at his daughter, but sighed and went into the kitchen grabbing a glass of water, then headed back up the stairs.
"See, what did I tell you, all Uchiha men are hard headed."
"Yeah!... Good thing we're not like that huh momma?"
"Yes, good thing... we just have the Haruno short temper."
"Yeah... huh?"
Note: I really don't have anything to say to this... men just don't listen!
