Just because I love Harry Potter so much!
Harry tossed a pebble into the pond near the Dursley house. He hated the summers here so much. At least this time he had the satisfication of having a Godfather. Even though he couldn't really write to Sirius that much.
He still liked using it as a threat to the Dursley's to treat him halfway decent. He sighed as he stared at the water. There was a constant ache in his heart that was always there during the break. It was because he missed his friends, and his life in the wizarding world. He didn't belong here. Never had and never will.
He didn't want to belong. He brushed his hair out of his forehead. If Mrs. Weasley was with him she'd want to cut it. As it is Petunia and Vernon could care less about his appearence. They probably wouldn't notice if he walked in with a broken arm.
He hated how alone he felt when he was here.
"Well, wel,l well," a familiar voice sneered. "Isn't it the great Harry Potter!"
Dudley. And he was alone.
"Where are your little friends, Dudley?"Harry sneered, venom in his voice. Dudley gave a snicker.
"At home, but I'll see them again tomorrow...where are YOUR friends?"
Silence greeted him.
Dudley gave a truimphed laugh.
"You're not answering cause you have no friends. No one would want to be friends with you."
The urge to use magic had never been as strong as it was then. But he remembered the last time he used magic at the Dursleys. He couldn't afford a chance of explosion. He couldn't afford to get kicked out of Hogwarts. The very idea made him sick.
"Go away Dudley."
"Or what? You'll use that...thing?"
"Call it what it is, Dudley. It's a wand. You can say that, can't you? Wand? I know it's a hard word for you so I'll repeat it nice and slow wand."
He saw the knuckles tighten and smiled. Teasing Dudley was still one of the few good things he had this summer.
"Besides," he continued. "What would happen if I did decide to use it on you? You're pretty defenless right now."
"I'll tell mum and dad!" His cousin threatened and he laughed.
"Running to mummy and daddy?" He sneered, suddenly feeling mean. "Wow that's really brave of you, Dudley. I bet they're so proud to have a coward for a son."
Dudley glowered at Harry and was about to lung when Harry stood up, seeing someone creep up from behind his cousin.
"Dudley, look out!" His eyes widened as the surprise attacker hit Dudley against the head with his gun. Harry stared at the man and whipped out his wand. He didn't sense someone creeping up from behind him and putting a piece of cloth over his mouth. Suddenly everything went black.
Harry groaned when he woke. He felt himself tied to a chair. He felt lightheaded as he rose his head. He heard voices whispering in the dark. In front of him he saw Dudley, who's own head was bleeding.
"Dudley! Dudley!" He whispered urgently. Dudley wouldn't wake up.
A dark haired man appeared with a sinister grin.
Harry licked his lips and tensed.
"What...what do you want?"
The man gave what was a cousin to a laugh.
"You'll find out," he whispered into Harry's ear. Harry shuddered, fear circling him, taunting him. "But right now, let's have a little fun, shall way?" Harry's eyes widened as he saw the man pull out a knife and dangle it in front of his face...
Should I continue?
