Thursdays where always Maya's favorite day of the week. It was the day when Lucas' mom would pack 2 lunches. For Lucas. For Maya. Always 2 lunches.
And this Thursday was a half day. So Lucas naturally took his girlfriend to the park right next to their school.
Maya had her head on her boyfriend's shoulder as she ate her chili. "I'm going to dump you and marry your mom."
Lucas raised a brow. "And why on earth...I can make the chili too!"
Maya laughed. "Like you can make it as good as her."
Lucas rolled his eyes as he kissed the top of her blonde hair.
Maya hummed a little as she played with is fingers and looked up. "I love you."
Lucas smiled widely. "I love you, too." He said.
And that was when all hell broke loose.
The 2 teens were walking back to the school when they saw it.
Some random man was trying to steal a woman's purse.
Maya held Lucas' hand so tight ot make sure he didn't do anything stupid.
That wasn't until the same man came up and tried to take Maya's purse.
"Hey!" She yelled.
Lucas looked over and raised a brow as he pulled Maya away. "You don't touch her or her purse. " He said when he looked the man in the eyes.
